Cheap and tasty beer, nothing to write home about but it's clean, smooth, and you can wake up the morning after a 6 pack of tall boys just as bright eyed and bushy tailed as your most sober associate.

Honestly, anyone that drinks Busch can tell you it’s a casual social beer. It’s not a craft beer choice nor is it a 10/10 high class beer. BUT it gets the job done, parties, social events, or just hanging out with the guys. Cheap and hits the spot!

This a cheap good one, smooth, I love it. It gets the job done. And the best part, you sleep like a rock when you get loaded off of it. It’s not bad at all! Get it!

Nothing much here, just a good cheap beer.

This is pretty much a light beer. The color is light straw color, much more so than other AALs. The flavor and mouthfeel is extremely watery but there is some underlying bready, white grape juice, flavor going on. Bottom line, there are other beers in the sub-premium category that taste much better. I would choose Old Milwaukee, High Life, PBR and even Beast Light before picking this up again.

25oz can poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear light yellow color with an inch of white head that dissipated immediately and left no lace.

The aroma was benign, almost to the point of being nonexistent. None of the usual AAL sweetness, no grain, no hops.

The flavor developed better than the aroma had lead me to expect: some soft grain, and some very light hops.

The body was light, and had a semi-sweet finish, as expected for the style.

Drinkability was fine, for what it is. Overall, it's not really any different than it's relatives in the style. Drink it or don't, whatever.

25 ounce can into lager glass, best before 6/24/2018. Pours crystal pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with poor strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a very solid pale adjunct lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pale malt/corn flavors, and light earthy hop balance. Not too heavy on the corn, with nice barley presence. An enjoyable and well made offering, definitely exceeded all expectations.

Not much here. Light on flavor, light on aroma, totally inoffensive. Am I drinking light beer? Back in the day this was a regular, tastes change as we age, I still like it in rotation as a cheaper option.

12 oz. can poured into pilsener
(April 2, 2018 best-by date printed on 12-pack carton and on bottom of can)

L: clear pale yellow, SRM 1-2, pushes up huge thick head of white foam about 1.5 inches tall that's sticky; keeps thick collar and most of a skin; minimal activity in glass, enough to keep the collar but no more than 20-40 bubbles rising at a time, not the 100s some of these AAL carbonation factories can produce (I did give it a very hard pour)

S: dusty yeast, lemon peel, sugar ... the sweetness is bready and almost fruity ... pear; at times the sweetness completely disappears and it smells like lemon juice and yeast

T: yeast candy ... sweet, shockingly so at times, and pretty yeasty; hint of lemon peel, even lighter hint of tarragon

F: light, clean, surprisingly not overly crisp ... I gave it a big pour and robbed it of a ton of carbonation, and it's almost soft, slick

O: right up there with my favorite AALs; this one can get real sweet at times, but yeast notes keep the sweetness in check; the yeast aroma and flavor is clean, not earthy, and never gets too "house paint-like" like some AALs do; I can see this working into my AAL rotation, especially considering the price — it's often the cheapest option and always one of the cheapest options

This stuff is pretty competent. It's not great, but it's not bad either. Light and fizzy, not a whole lot of flavor. Easy to drink. You can do worse, and you can do better too. I think this is the best domestic Inbev product going in the states right now.
