Busch isn't going to be winning any awards, but it's the go-to beer for me and my friends. It's pretty cheap and it gets the job done. When I first gave it a shot, I thought it was about 4/10, but over time I've slowly devolved a taste for it. Perhaps the good times I've had with friends while having this beer have created a kind of nostalgia, perhaps I just have bad taste, but I truly enjoy this beer these days.

It has a mostly mild and unoffensive taste, and it's pretty easy to drink as long as you take it a bit slow. It works well cold, and also mildly cold, I don't think I'd want it warm though hah.

12 oz can Born On 1/10/17 poured into a vintage Busch glass at fridge temp 4.3% ABV. Color is translucent pale yellow gold with minimal white head and no lacing. Aroma is faint and "beery" in the context of what I remember when beer was synonymous with AAL. Taste is really minimal, just a hint of grain. Mouthfeel is sharp carbonation first followed by minimal oily/soapy coating of the mouth. Overall, this beer, to me, is in no man's land. You can buy beer of equal quality much cheaper. I refuse to pay for commercials, jingles, and image.

Look - Pored from a tall boy into mug. Crystal clear yellow, Two fingers of bubbly white head quickly vanish.

Smell - Mild corn, water, slight metallic

Taste - Dry graininess, corn, dry finish, no bitterness

Feel - Light body, lots of carbonation, dry

Overall - Not bad for a cheap lager. Enjoyable on a hot day or with some spicy food.

You have to go into drinking one of these beers with a different mindset than a craft beer. This beer pours a golden yellow, with an inch of frothy white head that entirely disappears in a few seconds. The smell is mostly grainy with a bit of alcohol. It isn't a complex brew by any means. There's a little sweetness to the beer, but I mostly taste the grain and alcohol with little bitterness or aftertaste. The mouthfeel is the most underwhelming part. It has a rather thin feel, but pretty high carbonation for my liking. Overall, I've had a lot of Busch beers over the years and I like it for what it is, a decent blue collar beer that's good for popping a couple tops after working.
