Ginormous can from Grocery Outlet. Looks like watery ketchup. Aroma is tomato juice. Taste, yep, ketchup, but with a very minor spiciness on the palate, a little more burn in the gullet. Just doing my fair share of covering all the beer bases on BeerAdvocate.

Had that one time at a party back in the day. I have had a wicked lot of beers from these guys, most of which are not at all good whatsoever, this included.

25 ounce can, julian date of 22282 (October 9, 2022) stamped on the bottom. Not sure if it's the canned on or best before date. Drunken gas station purchase from last weekend. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a reddish/orange color with about an inch or so off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like tomatoes, Clamato and salt. Taste is similar to the aroma but this is where the chili pepper flavor kicks in too. Enough pepper heat to make it interesting but it's not hot by any means. Nice and tasty though. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and a bit slick with a good amount of carbonation. I admit the Chelada/Clamato beers are a guilty pleasure of mine and this one is probably my favorite of the ones I've tried. If you like cheladas then give this one a try. Would definitely pick up this one again!

24oz can of clamato beer juice... But spicy

If you buy this, you hopefully know what you are getting yourself into. It delivered on the beer / clam / tomato / spice promise and works if you're in the mood for it. But if you just want a beer, this ain't it, and that's me sometimes. A rare "treat"

25 oz can into a 1/2 pint nonic glass.
L: Pours murky dark orange/light red w a fizzy head instantly goes to nothing, light carbo, light saucy grit on glass. Has rolling particulate matter with each pour.
S: Veggie, tomato, celery, very gently floral.
T: Sweet thin tomato juice, ocean brine, a hint of celery, salt yet gently sweet then moderately spicy heat. A sweet & crisp Lager exists beneath all this that keeps it snappy. Great balance with Clamato.
F: Juicy, thick, heavy, broad heavy-bodied feel with a soupy middle. Has a saucy finish that is long and lightly drying.
O: I enjoy this Chelada as it has more pizazz than others. Good balance btwx light lager and Clamato. Feels almost nourishing! It's the only way I can enjoy Bud beer and it wouldn't be the same any other way. Very EZ drinking and very good in its style.
**If you already like Chelada then you'll probably enjoy this.

25oz can poured over ice into 24 oz tumbler glass.

look: nothing in beer like it, but tomato red with 3-4 inch head, fades quickly leaving tomato particles.

Smell: tomatoes, ocean, and hops.

taste: tomatoes, hops, grain, ocean, i little peppery bite, indescribably delicious

Feel: see taste. medium low carbonation. refreshing, oceany, tomato picante chewiness. crisp refreshing, delicious

overall: a delicious masterpiece. nothing compares. I love beer, ipa, 3ven juicy is ok, but THIS is pleasant, resort, oceanside drink ability in a can!

A lot of people are not judging this michelada fairly. This is a great michelada that is a higher abv than most other micheladas on the market. The clamato adds a great flavor profile that is very refreshing and delicious. My only complaint is that it could use some more lime flavor I sometimes add a slice of lime to this and it makes it even better.

24oz can poured into Three Philosopher's wine glass. 20154 printed on bottom of can. Is that supposed to be a born on date of April 15, 2020?

Appearance - Pours almost non existent white head that quickly dissipates and leaves only a thin right around the edge. No lacing. Opaque orange-red body. Basically what you'd expect in style. 4

Smell - Little to no smell. The alcohol is as strong as the faint clamato. Not interesting but also not offensive. 3.75

Taste - Tastes like clamato but maybe a little more watery and alcohol than normal. The spice doesn't add anything of value unfortunately. 3

Mouthfeel - Somewhat clean but also a bit sticky. Acidic and spicy bite. Little to no effervescence which is a major let down for the style. Lacks the typical refreshing quality of the style. Not bad. 2.5

Overall - I'm a big fan of the style, but this is one of the more disappointing examples of it. It's not offensive, but lacks any of the virtues of the style. Extremely mediocre. 3

Light-years better than anything else Anheuser Busch has ever brewed.
