Notes: As you might’ve guessed we’re from Germany, but what might surprise you is that we’re the world’s first Hefeweizen (wheat beer) grapefruit beer. Best served cold, it’s the perfect casual brew to cool you off during the summer, but it can be enjoyed all year round any time of the day. It’s a true 50/50 blend of total refreshment made from 50% Schofferhofer Hefeweizen blended with 50% carbonated juice of 100% natural ingredients.

Let's be honest! This ain't no beer.
But... it is so damn refreshing! Worth the buck!
Also good for when you're working. Low alcohol. But who cares!?

First of all, its not really a Hefeweizen, it's a Radler made with a Hefeweizen instead of the typical lager. So any reviews stating "Its basically half grapefruit soda" or complaining about how soda-y it is... yes. That is kinda par for the course here.

Anyways, pours a somewhat unnatural but interesting grapefruit color, very little head, and smells like like 2/3rds grapefruit soda, 1/3 Hefeweizen. Tastes light, sweet (but not overwhelmingly so), and finishes with a nice strong wheat flavor. Well carbonated but maybe a little too syrupy.

As stupid as it sounds, if you love a good Hefeweizen and also enjoy citrus sodas, you will really enjoy this beer. If you cringe at the thought of a Sunkist or a Sprite, this is not your drink.

Purchased as a single bottle from Ingles for $1.50. Poured into a hefe glass.

L - Fanta orange. Opaque. No head. I'm concerned...
S - Grapefruit, sweetness, and some sort of dank.
T - Sweetened grapefruit juice. Very faint wheat, and an even fainter bubblegum. Slightly tart finish.
F - Light body, very light carbonation. Syrupy. Extremely easy-to-drink. I didn't even realize it had an ABV!
O - This was definitely brewed as an export-only brew for the American market. As a hefeweizen, this goes against every fiber of my being. As a soda however, it's pretty great. I can see myself buying a six-pack of this and going out to a lake party to see one of my friends die as a result of vodka and improper boating. This is the beer of MTV in 2005. If this even counts as a shandy (I'm pretty sure it does), it excels as such. It's pretty sweet, so fair warning. Will probably buy again in the summer. I wouldn't recommend this as a hefe, but as a soda substitute or party beer.

it's a "grapefruit" orange soda with alcohol; looks great with a vibrant orange body with white fizz head, but is somewhat artificial tasting with more orange than grapefruit - way too sweet to conjure a true grapefruit profile.
all in all, it's pretty good, but it's basically alco-soda

Drank this while walking around Epcot Center in 100% humidity. The most delicious beer ever and the sole reason I now add grapefruit juice to all my lighter beers now!

Canned in a little stubbie 330ml candy crafty craft can and purchased from Asda supermarket
Pours a orangeade impenetrable orange body that the head reduces down to a couple of tiny white bubbles round the edge of the glass
Aroma is full in grapefruit fruit jelly
Flavour is grapefruit soda too

I was expecting something more akin to a grapefruit beer, instead...

...what I got was something that was more sweet grapefruit juice than anything else. As far as a drink, it really wasn't too bad, but as far as a craft brew - not so much...

Surprisingly good for what it is. Plenty of grapefruit with all the bitterness kept on check by the otherwise barely discernible hefeweizen. I get the appeal but I don't see trying this again.

11.2 ounce bottle poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

L---Bright pink color. The best comp is grapefruit juice. Big, light pink head that had good retention and left no real lacing.

S---Grapefruit, nothing else.

T---Grapefruit, nothing else. A bit tart.

F---Fizzy & light. A slight pucker from the bitterness of the grapefruit.

O---It is on point for what it advertises.

I bought one to try. I’m going back to get more. I’m gonna mix it with ice cream to make a float. Doesn’t taste like beer more like a wine cooler.

Clear glass 12oz longneck shows a pink/orange beverage with ample carbonation; very shandy-ish aromas and flavors of sugar-y grapefruit, lemonade, malty wheat, and tangy citrus. Grapefruit candy on the finish. Overall - just fine for a shandy, sweet and sugary and not too artificial.
