Comparing only NA beers, BUD Light and Miller Lite, not my favorite Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
The color was a medium straw.
This was another N/A beer that poured with a 3 finger head.
It gave off a nice malt aroma of beer.
Wow! The taste was that of a malt that was slightly over balanced with hops and finishes with a slight hop bitterness towards the back of the palate
The overall taste and body was better than any US light or NA beer!! I'll drink this any day! Thanks to Duke Wilhelm IV's beer purity regulation of 1516, the Germans make an NA beer that tastes like a BEER!

If you have to go Low ABV, this is better then O'Doul's. but these Non-Alcoholic beers are not my cup of tea at all. I need way more flavor in my beer.

Pretty close to straw yellow, white head, 1/3", retention and clarity struggles. Aroma of grain, noble hop very mild, some skunk to it.

Taste, watery, lacking hop content, the mild 6 row is there. Mineral like content in the mouth feel. A good option if you don't trust the water around you for microbial content or whatnot. Otherwise, a normal beer will do just fine thank you.

Look is murky gold with a thick cream head. Taste is nothing more than Apple juice and stale barley.

Nice beer for an NA! It's quite carbonated with some white bubbly lace left on the glass. Translucent and clean. Smells like malt and lemon with some slight floral hop notes. Surprised by how much flavor this has: the frontend is sweet, with the middle somewhat dry-ish with some spicy floral notes. The aftertaste was a little wet, but peppery. Crisp and light body. I think this tastes better than Miller 64 or Michelob Ultra. Perhaps it rivals Bud lite/Budweiser, IMO. I could quaff a bunch of these in the summer.

From a bottle, pours as a slightly haze gold with a thin off-white head. Subtle malt aroma with indistinct spice. Taste is a nicely balanced between Hops and Malt with upfront sweetness and a backend grassy bitterness. Unexpectedly flavorful and drinkable. I'd put this beer up against a Heineken (Lager) any day. Non-alcohol without compromise.

12 oz. bottle, bottled 10/02/2016, best by 10/08/2017. Acquired a bottle of this from my friend's pregnant sister. Possibly my first review of a genuinely marketed "Non-Alcoholic" beer. "Malt beverage contains less that 0.5% alc. by vol."

Poured into clear tulip-ish stemware.

A - Pours a pale light yellow body, some bubbles, and about a finger of frothy soapy white head that lingers on for a decent while, leaving some good random scattered strands of lacing. Appears well carbonated. Looks good for what it is: non-alcoholic beer.

S - Aroma is a bit strange, but not entirely off-putting. Initially sweet, earthy, & grainy, with lots of natural honey-smelling sweetness. Definitely reminds me of large gallons of Arizona Green Tea from back in the day. Matcha, grain, rice, corn, wheat. Interesting. I'm intrigued.

T - Taste is the same: crisp, sweetened, grainy, earthy. Notes of honeyed sweetness, green tea / matcha, earth, grass, grain / wheat / corn. Again, not terrible by any means, nor is it off-putting, but definitely distinct from the classifications of light lagers, adjunct lagers, pales ales, etc. Toasted grains seem to be the dominant feature here, with a good touch of sweetness.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, clean, earthy / grainy. Light-bodied, and fairly easy to drink, I'd say.

Overall, interesting stuff. Would recommend for those in need of an alcohol-free beer.

Poured from the bottle into a shaker pint.

Sudsy and clingy white head of three fingers. Settles with a bit of clumping and a big bubbled puck. Crystal clear. Brass yellow, not too light, and a little bit of pinhead carbonation. Solid looking beer so far.

Sweet sensation on the nose. A touch of maize perhaps, and a bit of whispy grain. Mild faint sensing caramel.

Palate for a NA is noticeably sweet, but seems to focus on the malt. Sweet sugars, faint touch of caramel and almost honey like sweetness. A minimal carbonation sense but doesn't make a flat sensing body.

There's not much to say here, but I can't fault this for what it is.

I regret this.

12 oz from Trader Joe's.

I was hoping perhaps it would be a good non-alcoholic beer.

Just lager taste but too corny and grassy. Just not worth it compared to all the other outstanding brews.

Clausthaler pours a palish Gold with a semi-frothy white lager-like head that doesn't fade too quickly but doesn't stick around super long, leaving small scattered bits of lacing. Smells of grass and straw, slight grain hint, kinda skunky like a euro pale lager.
Tastes slightly grassy and a bit sweet but bitter towards the middle and into the end. Feels strong and pretty crisp. Passable and very drinkable in my opinion.

From bottle, pours a Pale gold with a medium white head like a typical lager. Aroma grass, corn straw, apples. Taste grainey malt, honey, grassy. It's okay.
