Poured into weizen glass.
Nice appearance, smell is less intriguing, taste is ok for dunkelweizen, some vegetable nuances.
Smooth with moderate carbonation.

Murky orange brown, creamy beige head.
Smell malty and yeasty. Only a very little bit of banana, a little caramel.
Taste wise it's the same thing: a bit of malt but hardly anything else. I'm a little disappointed.
Overall this is a simple wheat.
Bought this on a recent trip to Germany, it was on sale. I wonder if normally this brew has more depth. I'll have to try again in the future.
For now, it's ok, but nothing special

A - Dark unclear orange color with tick white foam, lasting couple of minutes. Low carbonation.
S - Fresh fruits. Mostly apricot jam. Sweet and refreshing.
T/M - A bit more carbonated. Fruits in the mouth. Sweet and bitter aftertaste. It is almost as White Hefe taste, not Dunkel. Also some chocolate in the mouth.

O - If is not that much carbonation in the taste, this could more then decent.

Hazy copper amber color with a huge thick head with great retention and leaving a wall of laces.
Aroma of banana, cloves, caramels, wheat and slightly toasted malts.
Flavor of fresh oranges, spices, wood, banana coming in a delay, yeast and pears.
Medium body with good carbonation and a bit acid.
A very pleasant light weight Dunkelweizen, refreshing and light on spices, but still quite malty.

Looked nice, good head and retention, smelled nice, nice classic banana, roast and clove.
But the taste was a big let down. It was really watery, so the wheatiness was weak, and there was just a flash of roasted malts, with dark cocoa powder and coffee notes, going away fast. The fruitiness is weak, faint banana, but a (very) lot of lemon zest. Traditional spiciness also low. Hops provide an average bitterness along with the roast, but that's it.
A pretty mediocre dunkelweizen, one that I won't be having again. Their hefeweizen is better though.
