Bottle compliments of Wasatch, thanks John!

Pours a hazy orange gold with heaps of long lasting foam. Lacing is pretty impressive as well.

I get caramel malt, lemon and orange citrus in the smell. The hops also impart a berry like aroma.

Orange, more like a tropical fruity with berries taste and caramel malt sweetness that kicks it into balance overdrive. Malt gets somewhat earthy after more than a few sips but more of a toasted malt flavour.

Light side of medium bodied, excellent carbonation.

So tasty.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 22 fl oz bottle on December 31, 2017. Look is dark amber with a thick head and spotty lacing. Smell is floral with sweet malt notes. Taste is malty and earthy with hints of citrus and tropical fruit. Feel is medium in body.

22 oz. Bomber

Pours a pretty nice slightly hazy dark golden orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, some hops, some citrus complex (orange, tangerine). The taste is pretty nice, malty, some sweetness, slight hop, nice little citrus complex (orange, tangerine). Medium body, ABV hidden very well, nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this one surprised me, pretty tasty.

Bottle poured into a BarrelHouse Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours golden orange amber with a frothy light tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves some nice lacing.

S: Slightly toasty biscuity malt, floral notes, citrus, hints of tropical fruit and spice, and caramel sweetness.

T: Floral, citrus, orange, lemon, tropical fruit, mango, papaya, slightly earthy spice, toasty biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: For a collaboration between Gigantic and 3 Floyds I was expecting something a little more intense, but for an English Pale it's quite nice.

a neat pale ale, apparently brewed in collaboration with the famous three floyds. subtle nuance in familiar styles is something i have been more and more interested in lately, and the grain profile on this beer is awesome. its maybe loosely english, very earthy, toasted, warming, full, even mildly peaty or something, still dry though, which makes an interesting and drinkable pale ale that looks pretty in the glass. the hop profile is grassy and nicely bitter, but sort of mild as they go. this whole thing is all fairly subtle, but its different enough to stand out for me. kind if interesting in that i know both these breweries to be a little more brash and obvious with things, so this was a cool surprise. smooth mouthfeel, slight nuttiness to the malt later on, and a flavorful ale yeast that dries it out nicely in the finish. lingering citrusy bitterness is all that remains after the swallow. a soft honey note throughout and the wet earthy grain are what i will remember most. cool beer, i could drink this indefinitely.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a golden bronzed color with a fair transparency about it. Some carbonation found it's way rising to the top. Not much of a head, was just above a film and it left just a touch of clingy filmy lace.
The aroma had some sweet to bitter earthy and grassy hops up front enchanting some of the soapy malts cleanly and sweetly. A very low amount of tobacco leafiness slides in underneath.
The flavor was moderately sweet blending the sweet portion of the hops to the malts and bringing in a little bit of earthy spice. Smooth yet semi-earthy spicy and clean soapy malted aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt on par. ABV felt appropriate, though just a hair above than normal for the style.
Overall, pretty nicely done English pale ale that I could come back to. Pass the fish n' chips!

22 oz bomber from Tradwr Joe in Salem Oregon. $4.59 LOve love love the Gigantic label art! Slightly cloudy deep golden ale with a nice small creamy thick white head. Aroma is slightly tropical but not much more than a piece of papaya.. Taste is fruity ..papaya, maybe mango but also toffee and earthy..strange but its all good. Mouth fel is rather good.soft carbonation and silky feel. An odd beer ..not really and EPA..but i liked it.
