Freestanding sheet steel warehouse building in an industrial area southeast of downtown. Small straight bar opposite the entrance seats about 6 with addition tables about the room, in the back room, and on the driveway patio. 16 assorted beers on tap. Friendly service.

My first visit to Gigantic came on what seemed like a busy Friday night. In spite of the activity, I felt the service was top notch, and in fact one of the best brewery experiences I have had recently. Incredible selection of Gigantic beers on tap and in cask. Samples galore. Friendly vibes all around.

portland has so many awesome breweries, but of all the places we hit, this is one of the ones i was most excited about, i have been a longtime fan and it was incredible to get to check the place out. a pretty humble operation, substantial, but really a no frills space, kind of an older school vibe, very low key, i love that. they have a little patio out front and a bigger one through the brewery off to the side which is where we sat, among the barrels, both of us baking in the hot afternoon sun. the bar area was possibly changes around for coronavirus, but it was ordering only, no drinking there, a great selection of stuff through, a kolsch and a dry hopped brett saison were our picks, tons of beer to go. they have a little gear shop that opens into a larger beer hall space with a working brewery feel, then the patio, spacious but unpretentious, especially for how good the beer is. a super diverse lineup of beers, both when we were in, but also in general, these guys really do it all. it was awesome to see their spot and to enjoy some beers on site, dont sleep on gigantic when you come to portland! rarely does a brewery visit to one of my favorites live up to the hype i always build for it in my head, but this one did!

Stopped by on a road trip for an afternoon pint. Already liked these guys from the beers I'd gotten to try before, but feel in love when we got there. Taproom was laid back yet fun with comfy chairs and the bartenders cracking jokes. Beer was all delicious with a great selection to choose from. The food truck out front made it even better. Can't wait to go back!

Gigantic is one of the best in town pubs. With a smaller main room, the expansion of the space into the barrel room in combination with the outside patio makes it have plenty of seating, and good options for either the outside, intimate hangout or social gathering. The beers are always solid, and the continued rotation means their is usually something new to try. Plus the can art is always phenomenal.

I love this place. Every time I see a new beer from Gigantic I get excited. The vibe is a bit different, no food, but outside food cart. The man working the bar clearly loves his job and beer. Lots of nice outdoor seating. Beer is always amazing but line up doesn't change often.

A quirky brewery and bar with well made beers. I plan to go back the next time I'm in Portland

Good place to grab a beer on a sunny day as long as everyone else doesn't have the same idea. Really more of a stop than a destination.

Awesome brewery tucked away in Portland. Super laid back set up. A few indoor/outdoor tables and plenty of bike parking. Friendly staff. Had several of their beers on tap and even a couple of brews from other breweries. I had their Gigantic IPA aged in a gin barrel and it was great. Then I just kept going back for more GINORMOUS.

This was stop #19 for my wife and I on a 21-day pub-crawl from Michigan to N. CA and OR. We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon just to try their beers. The pub is located in an industrial area, and the taproom is in a partitioned section of the brewery. A large overhead door was open, and several picnic tables were at the front driveway for outdoor drinking.
We ordered a sampler flight of all 7 of the beers that were available. They were served in two separate plastic baskets like those found in use for food at the drive-in malt shop. Carrying them was tenable, but we managed, and soon had them finished and able to move on to the next pub. The beers were all brewed to style, and all but one exceeded the style guidelines (the pale ale was pretty much average). The IPA, the Too Much Coffee Imperial Black Saison, and the Ginormous IPA were notable. There is no food other than a couple of packaged snacks.
We don’t enjoy ourselves so much in these industrial taproom settings, but the beer was good enough so that we’d come back again when in the area.

My favorite brewery in portland, they always have different brews. Everytime I go the beer is cheap and service and atmosphere is great.
End of story this place makes great beer. If you can ever go when they brew a Belgian then give it a try, some of their ambers are great in the summer.
