Draft at brewery. Milky golden pour, small ring of head. Light fruity aroma, peaches and mangoes. Taste is light and fruity. Consistency of fruit juice too.

Big fan. Fruity but not overwhelmingly so. Perfect summer beer. I’m not so into this kind of fruit but this is not saccharine-y. It’s well balanced. Such a good one.

It pours a muddy golden with white head. The mango and papaya aroma really permeates as soon as you crack the can- you know you're in for something special. maybe a touch of orange zest as well - there's almost a fruit candy vibe. This is overloaded with mango. Touches of papaya and pineapple as well. A touchy of citrusy tangerine to round everything out. I remember when I first had this beer upon visiting Bluejacket when my GF lived in DC and I did not. The beer descriptions seemed to want to persuade your imbibement based on the amount of hops in each beer. You an use 20 lbs of hops per barrel but if the beer doesn't taste good, it's not a good beer and I'm not impressed. Those beers from Bluejacket were just okay, including Lost Weekend. Since then, every time I've tried a Bluejacket IPA, I've been impressed. They are constantly outkicking their coverage, and under the watchful eye of Ro Guenzel, they have become a very good brewery. I hope more people in the Metro DC area realize that and appreciate it.

Poured on tap at Bluejacket into a nonic pint glass.
Pale grapefruit orange body color. Hazy a bit and opaque but not turbid. Fleeting white head, with minimal collar and lacing.
Nice solid and impressive aroma. Juiced tropical orange and hints even a little spicy herb on the hop angle. Rich and even a touch of bitter grapefruit.
Palate takes some interesting roads. Juiced hop of citrus even floral and green bursting but with a slight wet body. Nice astringency that seems more herbal surprisingly.
Has a ne look but sort of made for the masses with an interesting west coast flavor.

Fresh draft at the Bluejacket brewhouse. This is a foggy, cloudy beer that looks like someone dumped a lemonade in your draft. It smells of orange and tangerine, and goes down very well. I'm not a beer expert, but this is a very fine-tasting citrusy IPA. It's my go-to whenever I'm there, and I always take home a couple of 4-packs of it.

Draft from the brewpub.
L: Pours a hazy golden color, lighter in a way that looks like a NE IPA.
S: Citrus notes, maybe a little pineapple.
T: less bitter citrus up front, grapefruit at the finish. Not overly bitter.
F: Nice body that goes well with the taste.
O: Enjoyable IPA
