Light but full bodied clean, fairly crisp beer with a slightly fruity nose but a bready malt taste. There's a mineral side to the flavor by mid-taste, and a mostly grassy, slightly herbal end note. Carbonation has a slight bite, and its dry aspect accentuates the bitterness a tad. It fits with my likes pretty well - slightly sweet opening with a slightly bitter back; definitely much more nuanced than the IPAs that helped start my good beer journey, but it fits the pattern.

Couching my overall slightly as I recall thinking the beer a little heavier on the sweet side with my first can.

For the Company has a very thick, spongy, off-white head and a somewhat hazy, golden appearance, with bubbles and some lacing. The aroma is of rich pale malt. The flavor is of unsalted cracker and grassy hops. For the Company has a medium body and a crisp finish.

This is the first American—brewed Helles that I have tasted that has even come close to a German example. In fact this is one of the best I have ever had.

Enjoyed enjoyed the can at the Snarlygaster DC 2021 event. Tasty overall - even after I had enjoyed a Schlenkerla Helles! Poured into a tasting glass, it had a nice white head that lasted a bit. Scent seemed good. I will rate again when I find a can to pour and enjoy!

This is a solid, no-frills Munich helles lager. No off-flavors whatsoever, just a clean biscuity aroma and flavor with slight grassiness from the hops. Oh, and thank you for not adding any American hops to this. It's a classic beer style and doesn't need any re-engineering.
