Visited on a recent work trip to Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
Tried the following:
Coronado Islander IPA (draft)
Belching Beaver Deftones Digital Bath (draft)
I enjoyed both beers. Tap selection was good and I was glad to find something from Belching Beaver (had heard great things). Didn’t eat anything. Service was weak as the bartender was slow and disinterested, even though there were only a few people to serve. But on the bright side, I had a lovely conversation with two of the patrons at the bar. My overall experience was average, and I would possibly come back.

They have 40 taps. Its downtown but the place had kind of a strip mall vibe. Their concept is serving meatballs in various ways and it does not quite work. But then they have 40 taps and I have never seen the place crowded.

Artisan Meatballs and Beer. Great concept! When we visited, there were several beers form the brewery "Epic" on draft. Besides Epic, there were many nice local drafts available. Our server acted like he just drank 12 redbulls, but he was really nice. I ordered a slider of every meatball with the recommended sauce pairing, and the poutine. Everything was awesome except the falafel was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like breaded mashed potatoes. We had a really nice afternoon here in downtown Minneapolis, and I look forward to returning here in the evening some time. Devil's Advocate is literally right downtown, so you can walk here from many of the hotels if you are visiting.

Was at a conference at the Minneapolis Convention center and this was the best place within walking distance. Food was delicious, though a bit pricey for the area. Beer selection was decent and very focused on locals, though also a bit pricey for the area. That said, it was the complete package and none of the other places within walking distance of the convention center really did it as well as these guys as far as both food and beer.

Worst possible service. I have been there multiple times and will never go back based on the service I got the last time I was there. The server didn't treat me well based on the fact that I'm not gay and will never go back to this place based on how I was treated. While I used to think they had a good tap list and good service, based on what happened last time I will never be back to this place and don't think they will survive and will not be upset when they fail.... DO NOT GO HERE!!! The bar is hidden and will only survive by word of mouth and based on what happened to me, they will never get positive results. There are much better choices in Minneapolis then this place. Mackenzies is a much better choice...

This place is in an old warehouse type building. It is similar to many of the other bars in Minneapolis in that it takes the really long narrow approach. Old stone and nice windows bring in a lot off natural light. The service is friendly and knows a fair bit about their beers (even nice enough to point out their happy hour specials). Their selection of beers is pretty broad and spans several styles and breweries, including a large number of Belgians on tap. The food is pretty good. They focus exclusively on meatballs, with different sauces and meats. On the whole, this place is worth checking out, especially during happy hour.
