Notes / Commercial Description:
"It goes without saying that if you’ve spent any time in and around the Philly area you undoubtedly have heard your fair share of Philly slang and local colloquialism. Some things just scream ‘Philly’ so bad, it almost hurts. Anyone familiar with our Head Brewer knows he’s got a fondness for the linguistic arts as well. Whether it be his loud, booming Jersey/Philly accent cutting across the room, or his late night drunken German, there’s no doubting his love for the sound of the spoken word of any native tongue. He’s also got a fondness for easy drinking, hoppy beers. What do you get when you put the together? J.A.W.N. – Juicy Ale With Nugget. This 5.2% ABV American Pale Ale is malty, yet crisp, and is loaded with dank citrus, as well as tropical and stone fruit flavor and aroma from the gratuitous use of Nugget and Zythos hops."

Revelation. One of my favorite APAs. Great beer, terrible name. Needs a new name like Juiciest Pale Ale.

A: first off pours awesome look. It's a hazy, pale amber gold with three fingers of fluffy egg white meringue like froth. Lasting, a layer of head remains throughout, leaving a good deal of lace. Looker.

S: Aromas of citrus and juicy dank hops are abundant against a bit of cracker with pepper and hay in the end.

T Bestt American pale ale next to Dales? Big, bold hops start, and are dominated by large dank hop flavors of onion, garlic and grass. Lighter notes of citrus combine on a wave of sweet, white toast, malts to round things out. Feels like there's more here than a 5% ale. Good.

F: Medium with great mouth feel and assertive carbonation. Body has heft with great long finish, peppery and clean... lingering bitter aftertaste of dank hops and citrus marmalade.

I'd buy this by the case. Delightful and drinks like an 8% beer.

This. Beer. Yes.

This is what I'm looking for when I want a nice pale ale. Super refreshing, really happy and juicy, with a in your face, fully realized hop presence. The hop profile here is best described as a lighter citrus with more sweetness, like a Clementine, with notes of grass and spice.

Not so different as to betray the style, but different enough to stand out

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is orange peel, caramel, and pale malt. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, and slightly bitter...Not really juicy despite the marketing. Makes for an average to just above average pale ale. I feel I have had way better from the brewery.

Copper colored with lots of miniature sediment suspended within. There's an inch of thick beige foam resting on top. The aroma is of tropical hops with notes of mango and papaya. I'm tasting more along the realm of piney to tropical hops and light malt and it's very well balanced, at that. The light malt is at the forefront and the tropical to piney hops appear at the back of the palate. The mouth is smooth and delicate.

Thought it was a good pale ale. Pretty good aromas open up as soon as the can is popped. Solid, would like some more of Neshaminy Creeks hoppy offerings.

12 oz can from PA.
Appearance: amber color body that is clear and topped with an impressive light beige head. Very good retention.

Aroma: mild, dank and fruity

Flavor - Fruity hops upfront with citrus, grapefruit and other tropical fruits. Strong hop notes with a moderate amount of bitterness for a pale ale.

Feel - Medium bodied and medium+ soft carbonation: crisp, and semi-dry.

Overall - This is a hoppy pale that has only moderate bitterness and high drinkability.
