Wow this surprised me. Was given the opportunity to try this one at a tasting. Great mouthfeel to it. Nose is loaded with bourbon and fudge tones and he same goes for the pallet. Drinks extremely smooth for 12.2% and had a really well balanced creaminess to it.

Delicious. The barrel aging takes an already good dessert beer and makes it a great one. Chocolate with some mild graham cracker taste enhanced by the creaminess of the whole affair. Would gladly go out of my way for another.

22 oz waxed bottle. Inky black on the pour, tan head but settled into only a thin ring and no lacing. High alcohol content is probably to blame. Aromas of bourbon, fudge, chocolate and oak. Flavor has a blast of bourbon up front, followed by some roast and chocolate/fudge. Flavor akin to a bourbon soaked brownie, I dig it. No marshmallow or graham cracker detected. I think the barrel drowned these out. A nice sipper. I would not mind having another bottle.
