Often called your typical American lawnmower beer, cream ales are not unlike their American light lager cousin. Brewed with American 2 & 6 Row Barley, Flaked Maize, a touch of Munich malt, and of course, sugar, Croydon Cream Ale is light, refreshing, and easy to drink. We also use American Cluster and Czech Saaz hops that give it a touch of hop bitterness and a hint of floral aromatics.

The feel is full bodied yet smooth. The appearance is slightly hazy yellow/wheat/cream. Its flavors are light and crisp. The beer is very seasionable. There is almost no bitterness

Solid all around cream ale. This type of brew is not my favorite but for a low alcohol, light lager type brew this hits most of the marks. Refreshing, crushable and slightly sweet on the finish. Packs a lot of flavor for a 4.4%

Look: Pale yellow with a foamy white head.
Smell: Light malt/bread aroma with light spicy/peppery hop aroma.
Taste: Predominately bread-like malt flavor with some sweet notes of vanilla and milk. Light lemon citrus. Light, lingering spicy/peppery/smoky hop flavor.
Feel: Light- to medium-bodied, medium carbonation.
Overall: This is a really tasty, easy-drinking cream ale.

The head doesn't last here but the nose features a very pleasant sweet biscuit note and a touch of honey. The flavor is similar; sweet and light, with a clean finish. This is the liquid equivalent of white bread: plain but exquisite in in its simplicity. This is an easy drinking guzzler, just like cream ale is supposed to be.

Light orange gold color. About a medium light body with about medium carbonation.
Aroma is a pleasant mix of cereal, bread, a little grass, and some sweet malt .
Taste is similar to aroma, it has a crisp, very mild hop bitterness. Has that cereal /cracker taste. There is a very slight sugary, sweetness in the middle that stays through the finish and lingers awhile.
Overall it's a very safe choice for a summer afternoon beer. It doesn't go over the top in bitterness or sweetness but is very flavorful .

Um, just picked a 6 pack today and am at this moment enjoying one. I am not one who can pick flavors out and say it tastes like this or that. This beer tastes like what I wanted to drink tonight good refreshing and great tasting beer. I also bought their Lager and will sip it in a few moments. This cream ale is going to be a regular drink for me.

Refreshing cream ale. Only complaint is the finish gets a little too sweet as it warms

Mostly clear yellow color with a thin white head that leaves decent lacing.
Clean aroma with bready malts and classic Saaz hops. Similar taste, like a bready pilsner with a slightly sweet aftertaste.
Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation.
Very clean and refreshing.
