On tap at paradise by the slice.
served in a pint glass it has a black color body with a tan small head. The aroma is of chocolate and peanut butter. The taste is the same as the aroma, it is like drinking a liquid peanut butter cup. I also get some roasted malt on the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and overall a darn tasty porter.

Evil Genius "Purple Monkey Dishwasher"
on tap @ Union Jack's Pub, Manayunk, PA

Notes: Very deep mahogany brown colored body. Short-lived head of creamy tan froth. Lacing leaves a bit to be desired as well. Aroma clearly expresses peanut butter, but there's some sweet milk chocolate and bittersweet dark chocolate as well. No, or very limited, roastiness. Medium bodied and creamy-smooth (which seems quite appropriate) with a moderate carbonation. Peanut butter returns in the flavor but it's not as full as the nose suggests with the chocolatey notes taking a much greater part of the stage. It's not particularly roasty (again, as appropriate) but there is some coffee-like flavor and dark malt acidity, which along with a firm bitterness balances it quite nicely, leaving just a bit of the sweet malt you'd expect in a peanut butter porter. It's gently caramelish and, obviously, nutty. The only hops that are found are mild and dull, appearing in the lingering finish. An interesting and enjoyable beer. It's certainly not the first, but it's one of the better peanut butter porters I've had.

A - Looks quite good deep dark porter slight ruby hues. Head is good a 1/2 inch of mocha head that sticks around to a good thick lace ring.
S - Great roasted peanut butter smells with coffee and cocoa notes. Smells like liquid bliss.
T - Sweeter chocolate and less roast than the terrapin offering. Some roasted coffee but very little twang. Has a good peanut butter taste. Best beer they ever brewed.
M - Medium bodied has a good chewy taste. I can dig it.

Overall while most of their brews are experimental home brew like taste this one was pulled off better than commercial offerings. I would buy this again!

I liked this one. Taste is big peanut butter, roasted malt, sweet and dark chocolate. A nice dessert beer. I prefer DuClaw's Sweet Baby Jesus more, but this is right up there.

Aroma is a freshly broken Reese's PB cup. Taste is about the same, chocolate, slightly sweet peanut butter and roasted malt in the finish. Best in the peanut butter chocolate beer class.

Thin off white head, black in color.
Slightly thin with appropriate carbonation.
Roasted nutty flavor, that finishes with a pleasant bitterness and hints of cacao.
Warm and slightly boozy, this is a delicious dessert beer that hits all the right flavor notes.
