Aroma Is apple, pear, apricot. Dark brown color...a little cloudy, small white head. Taste is apple, grapefruit, some alka-seltzer. Sourness is a turnoff. Not terrible though.

Probably the least disappointed I’ve been in an evil genius beer. Yes, that’s a backhanded compliment."

Cloudy, light brown color. The head starts off moderately but retains its presence throughout the tasting. The lace is a combination of ring and spotty lace.

Nearly burnt toast is the first smell I get. There's also a tinge of sweetness. The bittering hop is far in the background.

The flavor starts with crystal malt and some definitive biscuit and toast. There's a good dollop of bittering hop for balance. Although this is not what I would describe as a complex beer, it does hit all of the elements one expects from an amber. Certainly, I would call this a solid entry for the style. Rich bodied with a corresponding higher level of carbonation.

For Some Reason i really liked this beer. Nice hoppy ale.

Taste was great i really liked it. Nice and hoppy but not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this beer! Hard to find evil genius by me but im starting to like them. If i was going to buy a 6 pack of an ale this would be it. Tough choice between river horse special ale and forsaken!
