Perhaps the best vibe of any pub in Charlotte. The beer selection isn't amazing but it's very solid. The bar is old and dark, the lights are dim and the food is fantastic. It feels like a European pub. If you're looking for the best beer selection in town, try Duckworth's or Salud! If you're looking for good beer, a great time and a wonderful meal... you can't go wrong here.

I used to hang out here with friends quite a bit. Its a cool little place right in the middle of the neighborhood with houses all around it.
The atmosphere is nice, but a bit cramped if you want to sit down for dinner. The bar is small, but they have a decent selection of brews on tap and bottle.
The food is really good. I always get the crawfish burrito. Good stuff.
Service isn't bad
I will gladly return with some buddies.

Small old fashion pub in Charlotte, right by downtown and yet embedded in a residential neighborhood pocket. Dark lighting, old wooded pub decor, in line with the building that houses the tavern, and with a rather comfy vibe.
Good small selection of craft brews on tap, and handful of fair bottles. A few good local selections, which they seem to make an effort to represent. The highlight for me was the NoDa rye dipa, which I found quite memorable.
The food was perfunctorily forgettable pub fare the two days I tried it. Eatable but fairly bland shepherd's pie, and burger.
Service was very nice and attentive across the board, with a casual attention to detail that felt warm and welcoming.
All in all a good cozy neighborhood hide out. I'd probably revisit it in a similar work trip to Charlotte.
