16oz glass at Beer Rev Edmonchuk.
This beer appears a rather cloudy, tarnished apricot amber hue, with one skinny finger (a good thing in this particular situation) of finely foamy and somewhat creamy bone-white head, which leaves some randomly eroded limestone face lace around the glass as things slowly abate.
It smells faintly of gritty wheat grain, a hard water minerality, ethereal fruity and spicy esters, and a bit of musty yeast. The taste is semi-sweet, mildly spicy wheat malt, a hint of caramel sweetness, banana split fruity and sugary notes, a suggestion of generic citrus hoppiness, and more lazy, just kickin' it, yeast.
The bubbles are quite sedate, but hardly AWOL in their low-level frothiness, the body a tad on the lee side of medium weight, and plainly smooth, nothing really caring to mess with the minor equilibrium evolving here. It finishes off-dry, the zingy wheat, sweet savoury spice, and late-arriving, but still muted orange citrus manifesting as such.
An enjoyable, sort of West Coast-tinged wheat ale. The purported citrusy hops certainly play nothing more than a background role here, leaving the heavy lifting to the rest of this capable Belgian-heritage brew, to no ill effect. Easy to drink, and especially worthy on this perfectly rendered July afternoon, the tar-laying machines on the street just outside notwithstanding.

A well crafted Wit from Townsite that works with a solid mouthfeel and a decent amount of citrus notes for the style. Love to have this on tap on a patio as I could drink a lot of it . Not a big or outfront as some BC Wheats but worth the purchase when I see it

Townsite Brewing 'Westview Wheat' @ 5.2% , a Belgian Witbier served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $6
A-pour is cloudy gold with a good size frothy off white head leaving a big lace along the weizen glass
S-pine & citrus
T-has a big taste of an IPA at times , a bit of a hoppy Belgian beer , and a touch of an
American Black Ale/CDA to round it out
MF-ok/good carbonation , medium body
Ov-one & done , not a beer I will seek out again
