Atmosphere- Really nice. They have a long bar with about 15 of their beers on tap. They have a few long picnic style tables set up if you can't find room at the bar. Relaxed feeling, it was pretty busy when we went but still kept a chill atmosphere.
Quality- Revolution makes some really good beer and you can't go wrong with the beers they have on tap.
Service- The bartenders were very friendly but it did often take a while to get a drink. It was a busy time when we went and their were only two bartenders taking care of 80+ people.
Selection- They only have their beers available but they have a good variety of them and they have a lot of beers that you are only able to get at the brewer.
Food- They don't serve food but I did see a lot of people ordering out and bringing in food from other restaurants.
Value- Price was very reasonable. Most beers were $5-$6 for a pint. Their higher ABV beers were $8 for 10 oz or you could get a sample of 5 oz for $4. Definitely recommend coming to check this out, take the tour and get a free pint.

Big industrial space with on street parking, catch as catch can. Nice bar area with attentive bartenders. Tons of indoor seating. Love the glass walls through which you can watch the brewing magic happen should you care to do so.
Plenty of tap handles and different styles to choose from; I sat at the bar and drank a couple of IPAs that were well made and tasty. Coolers full of barrel aged 4/pks to go.
The Friday afternoon I was there, a duo (fiddle & banjo) were playing in the back of the hall…nice. I like this place and the beers a lot, but loathe driving to get to Chicago on the highway. Oh well, the space is great, the bartenders are fabulous, and Revolution has one of the best barrel aging programs in the country…worthy of a visit. I’d like to think I’ll return.

My preferred spot of the two locations. Big open industrial brew space. The selection is perhaps not as wide but the quality is higher with almost always having special one offs on tap. Release days here are a hell of a lot of fun. Best barrel program in the city! The snacks are surprisingly good, and have saved me from the high abv a couple of times. Staff is always on point and accommodating

12/9/17: Came in to pick up VSOD and Ryeway, stayed for a Beanorma Gene. Large warehouse space, small stand with large take out varieties, long bar for a few dozen people and many additional tables to serve a large group of people. Place was pretty full with the special release, service was good despite the crowds. Many Revolution varieties on tap. Didn't see the popcorn machine, but will check it out next time I go. Very good local brewer, glad I finely hit the brewery which is closer to my house. Recommend for those who want a variety of good beers.

Vibe was loud, dark, industrial, huge, popcorn machine! Long tables with benches, lots of room for big groups. I saw people bringing in take out food.
Good selection of their brews on tap and in bottles/cans. Was able to get full or small pours.
Service was a bit rushed and inattentive, but it was crowded, so I don't blame them. I did not have to wait long for a pour.

Massive space, but a cool atmosphere with the barrels and huge-wall-covering American flag. Compared to the brewpub, the taplist has always been superior. Service though is a bit more rushed and not as friendly. Still a great place to stop and comes highly recommended.

Visited last winter with a meeting of the Illinois Chapter of the Congress for a New Urbanism. (Full disclosure: I'm on their Board.)
The theory that I've seen confirmed increasingly since this visit by various writers/bloggers is that one of the key ingredients of healthy urbanism is brewpubs and breweries; hence, our meeting here of an unusually high attendance of over 30.
After a long social hour and sampling various renditions of the stellar Eugene and other brews they do not can often (if at all), we had a tour of the facility by an animated employee who obviously loved his job. Interesting. He talked not only about Revolution, but its competition... most of whom are upstarts. Will the cycle be unbroken?
Of course, I rode my bike home (4 miles) on a cold winter night.
But I was a happy man. I proved two key theories in one evening: brewing makes urban life better; and dark beers make winter more tolerable.
I just may do all this again... so the taps can be counted and I get a photo for every brew I taste.
Or, perhaps you do that... as this is taproom and tour is not to be missed.
