On tap at Provisions in the Circle in Orange, CA.

To be quite honest, like a Beyoncé single, this one doesn’t really scream anything at me. It’s nice, and mild. And mild, and nice. Which is okay, if you are straight up chilling on the lay low (like Raul is). Yeah, it doesn’t get my Viagra excited (and it isn’t even close to the Mexican knock off stuff that I got in TJ (what a night). But again, it’s mellow and cool, which is fine with the Raul man.

On tap at the brewery, pours a mostly clear golden yellow with white head. Nose and taste are typical west coast style ipa. Quite competent but nothing memorable. Would drink again.

Picked a 6 or 4 pack of this up when I was at Berkeley Bowl in November 2018. Pours a yellow and light amber like appearance, 1/2" white head on the top. Aroma went in the sweet tangerine and tropical fruit direction from late stage proprietary hops.

Taste was good, lots of hop flavor fruitiness with soft bitter touch without any "juicy" overtones. There is a little bit of Mosaic dankness, Cascade then Simcoe bitterness, and Blanc grape like breath and levity. Body was light, easy drinking, and a good example of just doing your carbonation ever so slightly lighter than a west coast ipa instead of making it like a 10 year old sludge stout carb level from Flat Abbey. Still has a relatively light and dry finish to it. I think I bought multiples because it was relatively affordable compared with other tallboy hoppy cans.

I dug this beer and its crushability.

Dang! I bought four pint cans on 3/17/18 that were canned on 3/6/18. Henhouse has figured out the distribution to Berkeley Bowl.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass

L - Beautiful hazy tangerine, dense finger of head dissipates into fine lacing across the top
S - Tropical hoppy goodness, dank
T - Huge citrusy hops upfront nicely balanced by a delicious malt backbone
F - Light bodied for a big beer, easy to drink and refreshing
O - Dank and delicious. A very enjoyable IPA for all the hopheads out there

Canned 1/9/18, consumed 1/22/18

Poured hazy light amber gold with a nice head.

Aroma is sweet citrus and tropical, a little bit muted but still pleasant.

Taste is zestier and juicier than the aroma suggests, fruit first and then some pine.

Feel is light-meduim. Bitterness is there but low and unobtrusive.

Seemingly lighter than some other IPAs I've recently had around the same ABV, but overall a tasty and super easy drinking brew.

Taster at brewery. Classic IPA. No additives. Hops forward. Clean and simple. Medium gold, hazy. Soft head, tons of lacing. Light tropical notes in the aroma, floral, dank. Taste is fruity, bitterness follows. A treat from start to finish.

Very solid IPA by my standards. It's got a decent haze and juiciness, but it doesn't completely overtake the hops and has a mostly dry finish, which are qualities I really enjoy. Aroma was a little tame, but it's a beauty to look at! I work at a bottle & beer shop and feel like I can recommend this to both traditional and new wave IPA fans.

Canned 11/21/17 consumed in tall tulip glass.

Beautiful amber gold body with a touch of haze. Tall finger and a half of bubbly white head with some larger bubbles - great retention.
Smell is all grapefruit and pineapple, some dark orange fruitiness.
Taste follows the nose with a welcoming bite of hoppy grapefruit upfront and a slightly sweet pineapple essence to follow. Pretty delicate and light malt backbone.
This brew is fairly dry on the finish while perhaps being a bit undercarbonated. Anyhow, this is easy to drink and very enjoyable. Would love to seek this out on tap sometime soon.

Let me first say that I frequent this brewery, and the IPA is much better fresh off the tap. Pours a light amber color, with a solid head. Tons of grapefruit, pineapple on the nose. The taste is very solid for an IPA - light on the bitterness, with a focus on the flavors that come out of the whirlpool. A nice beer overall, and probably my favorite standard IPA.

This pours a caramelly tinged golden color. Piney notes, with some citrus and a tropical backing play nice together. Classic malt backing lends some depth and a nice finish.
