Friendly enough little place, parking is the issue. Decent selection of taps, brewery was pouring I was there. Hit and miss on the taps, overall vibe OK. Snacks for sale. Cool logos and design and brewery cats. Love brewery cats.

Cool as hell hole in the wall. Mrs. wondered were I was takin' here. Once in, talk with owner(s) and brew workers, she was hooked. Keep the 'Ville weird baby!

Apocalypse is an ideal place to spend an outdoor evening. The atmosphere is completely chilled out, they're dog friendly, and they've always got local food trucks on site on the weekends and of course great beer on tap . it's definitely my favorite spot in Louisville for spending a day drinking beers with friends.

Very small, tiny really, taproom. A few places to stand outside. The beers are interesting and border between okay and decent. I do enjoy the tightness of the taproom and hope they can keep that feeling, even if they do expand.

Despite my numerical rating, this place makes some very cool beers, so it is worth checking out.

I'm not sure it is intended or simply coincidence but Apocolypse Brew Works resembles my minds eye for a location that would serve beer after an Apocolypse. Only three seats in the bar and razor wire fence around the compound, the seating is more or less five picnic tables. The beers are presented on a chalkboard and there was ten available at the time. The beers are very different in style and quality and I suggest a flight to find the ones you like. Also there was no glassware, only plastic cups, but it seemed to add to the end of times theme.

Showed up on a Friday evening and found a full parking lot as it was Yappy Hour, a dog-friendly event for the Humane Society. The establishment is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, which may or may not contribute to the crowd.
There appeared to be no indoor seating, but there are picnic tables outside and food trucks in the lot.
There were 10 house brews on tap, and all of them enjoyable, though there was little on the dark and/or heavy side.
It appeared that during non-special event hours, they do growler fills as well.

This is another unique Louisville brewpub. They are only open on Fridays and Saturdays with interesting food trucks supplying sustenance, and it's good. The last time I was there is was a Korean food truck.
I like the beers which are limited to about 5 or 6 types. My favorite is a strong barleywine which results in a smaller pour of about 10 oz. The lady brewer has a great personality and knows her business.
This place is best, I think, during the warm weather when you can sit outside in the parking lot and enjoy your beer and the evening. Inside it is pretty tight with about 2 small tables and about 5 stools at the bar. I think it is a good local hangout and they have some events there which are fun, such as yappy hour when you can bring your dog.
