Dark brownish red with white foam.
Malty, fruity.
If the fruit's too much, it's only by a tad. Sweet, not tart, and the figs are a fitting punch up for the style. Not a lot of variation to Belgian darks, just good and real good.
Seems right.

These guys continue to kill it! Nice dark ale made with figs. Nose is all rich cooked fruit, figs, and almost a light molasses character.
Mouth feel is rich, full and creamy with medium carbonation and just an all around inviting character. It's a nice "mouthfull" of beer but you want more in that you don't want to stop at one taste!
Flavor profile is sweet figs and cooked fruit on the front palate that develops into a malty, fruity, bitter goodness as it goes over your tongue and as you continue to drink. Flavors popped with a rich character that just continued to grow and develop as the beer warmed.
Nice job.
