12 ounce bottle pours a golden orange color and very little head. The aroma is hoppy with just a little bit of sweetness thrown in. Taste is well-balanced with a nice hop taste balanced by a nice malty sweetness. There's a little bit of citrus as well in the taste. I'm not a hop head and I really liked this American Pale Ale.

12 ounce bottle -> Highland Brewing Company snifter

A - a golden pour, semi cloudy with an initial one finger fluffy head which recedes into a thin retention ring, also leaving behind tons of lacing.

S - Pine, citrus, bread, floral notes

T - a well balanced beer with about equal parts sweet malt and citrus hops culminating in a nice bitter finish

M - a slight bitter aftertaste and plenty of carbonation, neither thick nor thin.

O - a decent offering from this lesser known brewery in Alabama. Mostly they brew really big beers <i.e. 12% ABV>. Not a fan of big beers, but I was impressed with this one.

I might have got a bad batch, but mine was borderline undrinkable. Would like to try again.
