Wow, a score of 2.34 gives me +41 rdev. That paints a pretty picture.
I just don't know what to say about this place. My wife's pulled pork was pretty good while my chicken was dry. Both sandwiches were inexpensive but kind of skimpy. My 6 dollar stout was pretty awful. It was a coffee shop and kind of still is; they close at 5 on weekdays, oddly enough. Everything from the decor to the menu to the beer to the business plan just seems thrown together. I feel bad writing this, but I can't think of one reason why would recommend this place to someone. When JoBoy's opens down the block this place is in serious trouble. Too many better ( and cheaper for the beer at least) options nearby, stay away.

This place is awful. The decor is that of a dirty, cheesy coffee shop. The bar is made of plywood with a really poorly-done epoxy finish. There's nothing separating the dirty-looking kitchen area from the eating and drinking area. When I was there this afternoon, the owner's two-year-old daughter was running around all over the place. They have four beers on tap at any given time, and that's it. The taps and keg fridge are hacked together from an old kitchen refrigerator.
And then there's the beer. I only had one, an Irish red, and it is to date the worst Irish-style beer I've had. It was brown and very cloudy, about like stagnant pond water. About as much head retention as soda, nowhere near enough hops for the style, and there was a fairly strong tannin astringency. Nasty, nasty beer.
All this for only slightly less money than the exceptional beer and food across the street at the Bull's Head.
