Really refreshing, light, malty Japanese lager.

Pours a pale golden color with a medium sized, white head.

Smells of sweet wheat and a hint of toffee.

Has a very light, well carbonated body with nothing else to offer but a well developed mineralic note.

Tastes of hay infused wet grass, a hint of copper and sweeter toffee malts. The beer doesnt turn overly sweet though, due to the high carbonation, which lends a cooling, metallic aspect to the flavors. Finishes with a flowery, sprizzy maltiness and watery dullness.

Not too bad, once your expectations are low enough.

This is my bud lite now. Just got off 2 years of PA and IPA's until acid reflux through nose and being fat as shit from heavy cal's and carbs.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates to tiny patches with no lacing. Aroma of light grainy malt, light grassy hops and a bit skunky, which is odd as it's in a brown bottle. Flavor is watered down biscuit malt and neutral fruit juice with modest, but distinct grassy hops developing into a grainy, biscuity finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. Looks and smells like an adjunct lager, but has a more grainy, biscuity profile. All flavors seem attenuated, but the finish has a bit more character albeit a little astringent from the husky grain and hops. I'm a little torn on this one, it has more real grain flavors than a domestic macro brew, but not the tame, mild sweetness that make them so bland but palatable. This is brewed for Kirin by AB and is more interesting than their usual output, but less pleasant because the light malt does not support the grainy flavors nor the grassy hops. I drank quite few Kirin's decades ago and was pleasantly satisfied by them, but it is too long ago to know whether that was because they were brewed in Japan under different circumstances or whether my palate has changed. It was never an exciting lager, but this seems to be a step down from what I drank back then. Drinkable for a tick, but it's pretty much one and done.

This beer was an impulse buy because it was cheap and i was curious
Poured from a bomber into a fat-bottomed tulip
L- Crystal clear apricot gold with a thin white head
S- Has the same off putting sour notes as Stella and Heineken. It is mostly corn, grass, and some sweet fruit. A small amount of spice as well.
T- Possibly the blandest beer I've ever had. The flavor it does have is the same as smell with an apparent watered down apple juice taste. It is completely inoffensive and passable.
F- It is just watered down apple juice
O- This beer is so boring. Might as well cut your watered apple juice with any generic macro brew

From a 500ml can served at 13 degrees Celsius into a pilsner glass. Best before 09.02.2018

Look: Overall nice appearance. It pours a brilliant, pale gold with five fingers of dense, off-white head that settles to a cap after about seven minutes. Decent lacing.

Smell: Low, corny-sweet pale malt aroma. Faint floral notes along with an estery apple. My only reason for coming back to smell the beer is to evaluate it.

Taste: The aroma to the tee, however a little more unpleasant.

Feel: Not bad. Medium-light body with faint carbonation. Very smooth with no perceptible alcohol warmth (as expected). I'm surprised how mild the carbonation is considering the style. The lack of effervescence makes the brew smoother but detracts from it being fully refreshing.

Overall: Light, malty, and crushable. An adjunct lager part of the crop that kept me away from beer for so long. It looks good but that's about all there is to it.

From a bottle, pours as clear straw with a foamy white head. Aroma is light but perhaps malty. Taste is satisfying sweet malt with lots of carbonation. Crisply refreshing, nice.
