this is epic beer, and i suspect it wont stay unknown for very long. its so unique, more peachy than almost any other peach wilds ive had, and just sour enough, focusing ore on the funky yeasty brett dry grassy strangeness than on lactic tartness, although i suspect both to be present. the beer is hazy and blonde, with a fluffy white head that slowly fades. nose of fuzzy yellow peaches and bretty funk. some citrus in here, a hint of oak, and a great balance between yeast and fruit that is uncommon in this fruited wild world. more peach than others too, but never is it sweet. the finish is dry and prickly from the bubbles, exactly how i like it. this should blow up and be one of those highly sought after beers, its absolutely fantastic and one heck of an introduction to tahoe mountain for me! i like it just a touch less than the cabernet barrel edition of the same beer.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Vintage 2015.08.10.

Small slow pour yields a very nice body color. Deep orange with nectarine darkness. Fairly opaque, maybe even a bit cloudy. Head creation is a bit fleeting, simple white in color and yields a solid consistent collar. The edges have an excellent orange bright glow.

Very nice aroma. Fruit peaches, slightly smelling a little canned like, but not overly sweet either. It's the dominant smell not much hinting barrel character or saison brett dryness. There does seem to hint of a fuller oak body like aroma coming off which may have settled things down nicely though.

Palate definitely aims for the fruit angle. Peach large mid palate but not excessive, juicy, slightly sweet and even fuzzy. Interesting mouthfeel which hints at real tight carbonation and playful fizz, but has a thicker rounder body. Finish hints at some saison like dryness, but much of the farmhouse funk is not really noticeable. There's an excellent mineral quality to this feel and flavor of the beer, but it enters just a hair into a metallic twinge. Peach angle seems to have been tamed and controlled very well by excessive wood aging nicely, as it's sweetness hints at something a bit large but now in more control.

Not bad, but looking for a little more diversity, but a solid peach content and flavor.

Slightly cloudy golden pour with a very minimal white head. Mild aroma of yeast, peaches and candy sugar. Nice tart peach flavor upfront backed by oak and barnyard funk flavors.

Thanks to familynight (Reddit) for this interesting beer, shared with rudzud.

Pours a light fizzy head that disappears quickly, lots of bubbles rising up, crystal clear golden lemony yellow color.

Nose brings lots of peach and Brett funk, nice fresh peach and skin, not a ton of Brett funk but a decent funk, little juicy citrus rind like, light saison blond malt. Floral and juicy.

Taste starts quite tart, sour lemon Brett funk, light barnyard funk, sour slight flemmy, etc. Decent peach but not a ton, fleshy juicy fruit peach, etc. Little bitter tannic skin and spices on the back end. Finish leaves a sticky feel, mild dry, lingering tartness, little lemon rind and juicy peach, mild farmhouse Brett funk.

Mouth is med bod, decent fluffy carb, little tart flemmy.

Overall pretty good, nice Brett, wish the peach was more on the taste.
