Had this on tap at the Bryant lake Bowl several times over the course of a week.
L: Pours hazy amber with a slight orange tint under a thin, off-white film.
S: The sage aroma and presence rapidly diminish over time even on tap – fresh this is intense and detectable from a few feet away but it rapidly drops off after even a few days.
T: A sage palate grows across your mouth with a big sage finish. Very minor hop presence provides bitterness to balance the sweet but not so much as to dominate the sage. The sage is actually bigger on the end – there is a lingering sage over the sweet but the sweet is gentle and not cloying. Just a hint of light caramel. F: medium body and carbonation.
O: This is another example of Indeed’s ability to develop the flavors and aromas of herbed beers.

This is a Belgian ale with a sage infusion.
A- Pale golden, with a slight haze to it. Thin white head to it lasts decently. Minimal lacing.
S- Smell is herbal, bready, fairly mild, but pleasant.
T- The herbal flavor really comes through in the flavor. Herbal and fresh bread flavors are present. Simple, but really tasty.
M- Fairly thin in body, a bit slick, low carbonation.
O- I had this with Thanksgiving dinner, and in that context, it was a really good beer. It is fairly simple, but paired with food, it makes for a good drinking beer.
