Brewed with an unfettered blend of Mosaic, Calypso, and El Dorado hops, Let It Ride freewheels on the nose with notes of blueberry, pear, and tropical fruit. Take a deep breath and hop on.

I had a fresh glass of this from the Indeed Tap House--it really was an amazing beer right from the source. I got a single can from Four Firkins in Minneapolis, and the best by date suggests this one should have been consumed by a few days ago. Sad that I sad on this one a little. Poured right from the fridge into my trusty Lakefront pint glass.
L: Pours a nice deep amber with a slight red tinge to it. Gorgeous off-white head of about three fingers sticks around for a while, never completely dissipates, and leaves some nice cling. Lazy visible carbonation in the glass.
S: Big resinous pine in the nose--very fresh smelling, not stewed. A bit of grapefruit rind and orange. There's some caramel malt trying to peek out, but this one has a pine-o-rama for a bouquet.
T: A very nice pine-bomb of flavor. The taste isn't quite as fresh or bright, obviously, as it was at the Indeed Brewery, but it still brings a ton of great pine-hop, resinous goodness. The front has layers of big spruce notes piled on top of a very smooth, bread-like malt backbone. The middle only sees the pine flavor intensify, and there's that introduction of the grapefruit rind from the nose. The back end is resinous pine bitter all the way, with just a hint of the malts and a lingering perception of orange.
F: This one is on the lighter side of medium-bodied, with a bit more of a watery consistency that I prefer. However, the carbonation level--quite perfect--keeps it from feeling too watery and really brightens things up on the palate. Smooth and creamy in the front and middle--quite bitter in the back.
O: I highly recommend seeking this beer out fresh (right at the brewery, if possible) because it might just be the best single IPA pine-bomb I've ever had. Some might be turned off by all of that coniferous ruckus, but I thinks it's sublime.

Poured out a clear, golden-orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit and sweet caramel. Nice tropical fruit flavors with bitter hop bite. Sweet caramel and toffee backbone.
