Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain with slight earthiness. Tastes of sweet honey and citrus with some earthiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

I brough a can of this beer at a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin during a recent visit for my daughter's gymnastics meet. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain and honey notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base accented by floral honey and grain presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16-oz can into Samuel Smith pint glass

A - 2 fingers of white foam with good retention and nice lace over a transparent body of golden yellow, high visible carbonation

S - honey sweetness and grainy malt; perhaps a touch of grass

T - big honey sweetness up front, lemon, wheat bread, floral notes

M - medium/full body, medium/high carbonation, fairly dry finish

O - not my favorite style, but pretty decent for what it is; alcohol hides well--it'll sneak up on you

16oz pounder can with a date

A very clear golden yellow with a small drizzle of head. Smells like alcohol and sweet malt. Very sweet and tasty stuff, leans into the the honey, completely covering up the alcohol. Dangerous

Not my style, but undeniably, objectively world class

Pitchers at Milk & Honey Ciders St. Joe, MN 8/29/21
L: Pours a deep bright fairly clear gold with a tall, creamy, fluffy eggshell head that has moderately good retention and a fair amount of lacing with some banding. Medium carbonation.
S: Honey, malts, cereal grains, sweet clover flower.
T: Sweet lightly rich floral honey, citrus, lemon/lime, sweet bread malt, The honey is not too pervasive and the alcohol is fairly well masked.
F: Very soft, smooth, rich, medium-heavy mouthfeel with a relatively bready and malty backbone. It is sticky, tacky, lightly dry and crisp with a medium length finish.
O: An extremely pleasant lager that is overall sweet and a bit chewy/thick. It has more orange peel and bitterness across the palate in comparison to their " Mex Honey Light Lager". It is unique and excellent in it's style of Imperial Lager.

An incredibly smooth (considering its ABV of 8%) imperial honey lager. Fairly priced (around $12 I believe for a 4 pack of 16oz) and all around a treat. I am surprised it doesn't rate more highly, but I suppose if you're not a boozing sort, the booziness will get to you.

Pours a pretty orange color, good crisp carbonation, and a nice thick body from the honey. A great summer beer, but stick to one and then fall back to something else because its way too easy to drink for a high ABV beer.

12oz. can into a Founders snifter.

Nose is honey, lemon, and an accented hop bite. Beer opens sweet. I get honey, adjuncts, and a slightly sweet hop presence. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down crisp and refreshing. No aftertaste.

Solid and very drinkable.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped for canning date as '04/19/21', best by date of '10/16/21'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Thin white head upon pouring quickly recedes to a partial cap.
Aroma is minimal, and shows honey, lager malt, and floral hops.
Taste has the brusque flavor of lager, mellowed with the honey. Floral hops. Not much of an aftertaste.
Slightly thinner than normal mouth feel. Has the bite countered with the honey sweetness. Good carbonation.
The bite warns of the higher ABV%. Crisp and clean, easy to drink. Limited in session because of ABV% (8%).

This is a 12oz. can poured into a 16oz. Indeed Brewery pint glass. This brewery started out with a very nice head of white foam. The foam slipped away slowly leaving little lacing behind. This lager is a nice straw color, slightly hazy, with a low amount of carbonation.
The nose has a light malty aroma, with some honey sweetness.
The taste is mildly malty, a bit of sweet honey, with very low bitterness and a touch of citrus.
The feel is smooth and silky.
This is an easy one to sample and it was very refreshing after one of the warmest days this summer in Wisconsin. Two thumbs up!
