Beautiful warm orange/pinkish color. Looks almost like a grapefruit. Very little head, quickly settled out to nothing.
Smells of tart cherry and sour citrus.
Mouth puckering sour....a bit of champagne as well. Not as much fruit as the nose would have indicated.
Finely carbonated. The tartness sticks to the sides of the tongue, way in the back, long after the finish. Quite dry.
Certainly refreshing...a little heavy on sour, and a little light on fruit.

This beer was great, very nice sourness but not enough to overpower the cherry which comes through on the finish. I would prefer more fruit character, but this was still a great beer. Bring it back full time!

The Cherry Bohemian was picked up for a rather modest $8.99/4 pack and pours a delicate pink blush (80% opacity) with a bubblegum pink head. The head starts at 3 fingers and eventually dissolves comnpletely with no residual lace.
Aromas of pure lactobacillus and brett, with squeezed lime and hard minerals. No cherries or stone fruit so far.
Flavor is very sour and acidic, bringing along with it flavors of crushed rose petals, orchid, key lime, zests of lemon, and the faintest whisper of white cherry. The finish is more of the same, retaining the acidic presence all the way through.
Feel is sharp and hard, like hard water, and brings with it stinging carbonation and a finish of puckering dryness.
I'll never turn down a sour and it's hard to knock this one, but it is a bit weak in the flavor department, instead substituting flavor for overpowering pucker and truckloads of lactobacillus. Not a bad beer on a hot summer day, and I'm sure I'll revisit it again once this 4 pack is through, but there are for sure better sours out there.

Pale hazy reddish gold, thin layer of foam, fades away fast. Not overcarbonated, bottles were pretty calm that we opened. Minimal spotty lace around the edges.
Aroma of lactobacillus, and vague cherry. Noticeably kettle soured, not that it's a bad thing, just the typical profile, resembles sour cherry yogurt. Not far off from a cherry Berliner Weisse.
Taste is tart, verging on puckering sour. Super dry and clean, possibly due to a few extra months in the bottle. Cherry aftertaste, fruit is light on the forefront, but present. Strong lacto sourness in the middle that is brief and dries out quick. Quenching and crisp. Nicely put together, fresher it probably had a bit more overt cherry presence, but it's very nice as is.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter. Absurd amount of foam. Took three overflowing snifters to hold one small bottle. Orange and hazy body. Settles to a medium white head. Smells incredibly yeasty. Phenolic. Some bubble gum. Faint cherry. What cherry is has is a little medicinal. Taste is tart. A lot more cherry flavor. Not medicinal, either. Big improvement over the nose. Strong yeast and phenols persist. Light bubble gum lingers with tart cherry. High carbonation, but not bad enough to detract. Light body. A beer that improved dramatically from appearance to smell to taste. Still not quite a remarkable beet, though.
