12 oz bottle poured into a 500 mL tulip glass.

L: Pours a hazy pink with a very solid white one finger head, and nice retention.

S: Right of the bat the smell wafted out of the bottle was very yeasty almost to the point of concern, but after pouring the raspberries became more prominent and the acidic smells became less pronounced as the beer warmed. Towards the end of the glass it took on a raspberry pie scent to counter the tartness and yeast.

T: Front of the young was very tart it was met with small waves of raspberries and malt. The sweetness and fruit catch up to the sour notes as the beer warms, but never takes over and completely balances out to the overriĆ ding tartness.

F: Light on the tongue and we'll carbonated, this would be tremendous on a hot day; Unfortunately fall is upon us and there might not be enough warm days left to truely enjoy it.

O: A very nice local sour at a reasonable price point and nice format (bombers or bigger wouldn't be nearly as attractive as 4 12 oz bottles for 8.99.

Pours a cloudy pink; white head; strong raspberry and lacto on the nose; taste is the same, a little medicinal, yeasty, with just a hint of cracker-y malt. Only moderately sour--closer to a fruit beer. Light body, medium carb. Easy-drinking, but cloyingly sweet to my taste.

A faded pink color with a 1 finger dirty white head. No real collar or lacing on the glass. Aromas of faint raspberry juice. Flavor is similar to the nose with some tart raspberry juice. Light and refreshing feel. A very simple tart beer that would be easy to drink in the summer.

Nice murky rose color, smell of freshly washed raspberries...this was a winner. I would drink this delicate ale more often if I could. No false raspberry flavor, only the good stuff.

Smell is of raspberry, almost a Kool-Aid type of aroma.

Taste has a slight bit of tartness up front, with a clean and crisp finish. There is a bit of saltiness to the taste, reminiscent of a gose, although I believe the base beer is Beatnik Sour, which is a berliner weisse. A fairly straightforward sour, but enjoyable nonetheless.
