This is a great place to try a variety of beers. They have representation from most of the styles. Some of the choices are a bit esoteric. They list out the ABV for each beer, which is cool.

Good parking.

The best thing I like about the place is the general "beer hall" feeling to it with the high ceilings, minimal decoration, and wooden benches and long tables that run the length of the place. Makes think of some old world beer hall.

Plus every time I have been there have been tables of attractive females enjoying the variety of beers.

Edit: Upping the selection and quality. Defiantly a better Texas and Houston brewery selection over the last few years. Along with really unique European Imports that other high volume beer bars around town don't always get. If not my favorite beer bar in town, this is really good non the less.

A brand new beer bar, mixology bar in the Midtown area (Mongoose is beer, Cobra is liquor). They did a phenomenal job with the interior. A converted old grocery store turned modern industrial theme with loads of character. The bar seats about 10-15 and goes along the immediate right. The tap wall behind that with a sectioned off chalk board with the selection directly opposite the bar on the left wall. There are old European type circular kegs visible through the walls, a mixture of exposed brick and paneled wood. Wood bench tables up front and a more private upstairs area. There is a big screen TV in the back and one in the upstairs area. A really unique feel and very comfortable.

The service is very friendly, a bit on the slow side for now. Which is expected for a new bar with lots of people and training staff. They are knowledgeable and personable when time permits. There is just enough food here to be considered an Eatery. Though it is not a full service restaurant. Meat and cheese plates, bratwurst, a few sandwiches, they pickle their own veggies. Everything looks and sounds impressive, but I have not been all that impressed. I need to give it a few more tries though.

On to the beer! 40 plus taps that always rotates. Along with 2 cask engines. Some Karback, No Label and Southern Star. I think they can do a bit better with the Texas Micros, but maybe they are just getting started with that. A handful of German, UK, and Belgian offerings. Clownshoes, Laughing Dog, etc all rotating in and out. The quality has been a bit off for me so far. My Weiss Versa seemed dirty and buttery. Same thing with the Wallon. Kind of odd.

Overall, an interesting and unique place. They do a lot of mixed drinks as well, and obviously influenced by Anvil and Hay Merchant. This can be one of the premier beer bars in the area, but not there yet. Improve the quality, and a bit more good Texas offerings. I will be back to see how this place progresses.

Pretty cool new bar that I've tried a few times. No sign out from, so you'll fly right by if you don't know where to look. Good amount of parking. Love the long tables and wooden benches, makes it more of a communal gathering and a good place to meet new friends. Always have a good selection of beers on the long chalkboard that runs almost half way down the left wall. Had a Deep Ellum Wealth & Taste last time that was great. Always have good TX locals along with Clown Shoes, some Belgians, Brewdog, etc. Can get very busy as it is not a huge place, but is still a good time. highly recommended.
