The second offering in the Anomaly series, and I believe this may likely be a seasonal offering for the fall.

A - Pours a murky copper colour with a finger of head with decent retention and some nice sticky lacing.

S - Scent is surprisingly nutty with caramel malts dominating, burnt sugar notes and an earthy cedar hop scent coming through on the finish.

T - Again, the caramel and toffee flavours dominate, hints of burnt toast, espresso and cocoa, followed by a solid earthy cedar hop flavour. This one is surprisingly bitter and the hop notes, although tamed by the malt flavours, do come through nicely on the finish. Sour citrus rind lingers on the palette alongside some muddled cocoa and caramel.

M - Medium bodied, smooth, though a tad dry on the finish.

O - This is a tasty IPA, easily sessionable and offers up some unique flavours. The hops take a bit of a back seat to the sugary malts, but are strong enough to please most hop heads. Certainly an IPA that I can stand behind and I would definitely recommend this to the local beer geeks before it's all gone.
