Quite the odd mix here and wondering if the brewer was actually serious by releasing this. Some pineapple notes are distinguishable within the mess with weird lactic acidic notes also distinguishable . One of the worst beer I had the misfortune to try.

A - served in a 22 oz bottle with a blue wax seal totally covering the cap of the bottle. Had to chip off the blue wax to open. Totally opaque black. Description " Aloha The Gentleman Gone Wild " "An Imperial Sour Stout aged on pineapple" Lacing great and persistent. Tan foam.
S- Distinctive, no pineapple picked up a faint raspberry smell.
T- Very sour, also dry with possible use of lactid acid bacteria. High alcohol at 11.5% that does not stand out strongly. Could not pickup and pineapple, but got notes of raspberries, how not a match with the sour taste.
M- ok had a mild body.
O- A bit to sour for my tastes, but appears true to the style. Stout = Dark, Sour = Lactic?
The bottle cost > $10. Do not plan to buy again as not a fan of sour beers.

Appears a deep, dark brown nearing black. With a small off- white head that slowly fades into a gentle cap.
Smell is of caramel, flowers, cocoa, and citrus.
Taste is of the aromas with a dubious amount of funk and flowery cocoa with a backbone of citrus.
Mouthfeel is med full with a generous mix of funk, heat, and malt. Strange but true.
