4 oz pour into small pint glass on cask.

A: Dark body black small slightly off white creamy looking head.

S: Light sweetness, some chocolate, roasted malts rather muted.

T: Taste is very dialed back as well light sweetness, some maltiness.

M: Medium bodied flatter not very creamy just lifeless

O: This is a fairly bland beer. I'm shocked how little flavor this beer has to it.

Wonderful beer. Anytime I go in, I grab a growler because this stuff is just amazing. It pours smoothly, and tastes sweet. I don't even like stouts, but this is just great. Thank you Iechyd Da!

Bought in a growler at the brewpub. Poured into a glass the same evening.

Pours a dark brown almost black with a dark tan head.

Sweet chocolate aroma.

Flavor is heavy on chocolate with some creamy notes. Very sweet. I liked it but also wouldn't have minded just a bit more hops to balance things out and to add complexity.

Very smooth creamy mouthfeel. Almost fluffy.

This one is worth drinking.

Brief notes on-draught @ the brewpub:

HEAD: None upon serving. No lacing.

BODY: Opaque solid black. No yeast is visible.

Appears well carbonated. It's a pretty basic look for a milk stout.

AROMA: Lactose sugar, dark malts, cream, milk chocolate, near perfect malt sweetness.

Aromatic intensity is average.

TASTE: Follows the aroma. Sweet to style, with brilliant use of Lactose sugar lending it a rich dessert-like taste.

TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, rich, medium to full-bodied, well carbonated, and Unrefreshing.

OVERALL: True to its moniker, Breakfast Cookies is a rich chocolatey milk stout with crowd-pleasing sweetness and nice balance. A hidden gem at the brewpub, and probably their best beer. Incredibly well priced, to boot. A solid milk stout.
