My favorite local brew place. The quality of the beer and food is top notch and the prices cannot be beat.
This should be a regular stop for anyone that can make it there.
Have a pretzel, the Swansea Pizza or the Brecon Beef Sandwich along with Big Pit Porter or Breakfast Cookies Stout.

This is a great addition to what was a pretty barren beer (and everything else) scene in downtown Elkhart. A nice selection of beer, most with an interesting Welsh touch, and the food is good - though, I've only had the pizza and pretzel, both winners. It's certainly filled a void, as the place has been packed every time I've been in, though not so packed I couldn't find a seat. My one complaint is that on two of the 3 times I've been there the music has been so loud that I could not literally hear what the waitress said, nor what the conversations were around me - the owner/manager/staff seem to think a bar means loud music, but that is really not (in my opinion) what the craft scene is about. It's about talking to the brewer, the guy next to you, even reading your copy of Beer Advocate or whatever. The music selection and loudness made the place as charming as a TGI Fridays - wish it weren't so.

Really enjoyed popping in to this little brewery for a quick flight of beers on my way to Michigan. The area up front had a nice casual section with a few leather couches for people to sit and relax. There were a number of tables for dinners and decent sized bar with two really nice flat screen tvs showing the World Cup game.

Yes, it was a Saturday afternoon so you expect a crowd, and while every table was full there wasn't a wait for service at all. The bartenders were really nice and friendly and the whole atmosphere was welcoming.

I sat next to a few locals at the bar and chatted over my flight of beer. The offer growlers to go and I was educated about the mug club. I liked that each of these mugs was custom made and no two were the same in size or color. I thought it offered a nice uniqueness to the standard boring mug club memberships, and each seemed to have its own personality.

I sampled 4 different beers, their 13 Black Ale and Fearless King Smoked Rye Porter were excellent. Their Revolution IPA was pretty good and their Berliner Weiss was just so-so in my opinion, but overall I was very happy with their selection and what I sampled.

This is definitely a place I'd visit again and recommend to people passing through. It's really not far off the I-80/90 highway and worth a stop.

Good English style beers brewed here with care and imagination. I prefer the stouts and darker brews, but you can find lighter beer here as well. The food is solid and quick, with creative pizzas and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'd like to see more variety, but they do a great job with a limited brewing capacity. The outdoor patio seating added for 2014 will be a great addition. One of my favorite places.

A nice, little brew pub. There's a bar area, tables scattered about, and even a nice couch and comfortable chairs to relax in. Lots of interesting and delicious food choices. And a good selection of the different, tasty beers they brew in house.
If you in the area, definitely check it out. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I stopped in for something to drink and eat. This was the fourth stop of a pub crawl in SW Michigan and N Indiana, so we weren't looking to drink much. The pub is located along a busy street among commercial businesses, and we shot past it because our GPS was wanting to go a half block farther. Parking is available along the side lot and a grassy area at the rear.

The pub was crowded for a Tuesday at dinnertime so we were invited to share the end of a large table with another group of beer lovers. All food and beer ordering is done at the bar, and then the beer and food is delivered to your table. We ordered a sampler flight of 5 of the 6 beers available (I skipped on the light blonde ale because usually don't like that style, and we weren't looking to drink too much anyway), plus we also ordered a brewery-made root beer. All of the beers were right to style and very tasty, although I don't get see a Berliner Weisse very often in brewpubs to be able to judge that selection with confidence. However, it was a raspberry version and delicious. It was not as tart as what I was expecting, but, again, my inexperience with this style may be at fault here.

We ordered a pizza and soup, and both were very good. Most people seemed to be here for dinner, and everyone was busy chowing down and seemed very satisfied with their food choices.

The place was somewhat noisy because of the large crowd and the lack of an acoustic ceiling to deaden the noise, so our cur communication with the folks at the other end of the table was difficult, but we managed okay and had fun. We would stop here again when in the area.

Good to see great brew pubs popping up around Northern Indiana; and this one hits the mark. Great feel of an Old Country pub with the selection of brews American brewers give to us. I enjoyed their 13 America Black IPA and Revolution America Ales; great selections. My wife settled down with their Tata Rosa Berliner Weisse which (and I'm not a fruity beer man) was outstanding. If they sold kegs, I would have bought one on the spot. Good luck and favorable winds to Iechyd Da Brewery (pronouned Yah-Kee-Dah). They seem to be good people; do business with them.
