This is a new place in the section between Fells Point bar area and the Inner Harbor. This area is seeing some nice additions to the beer scene in Baltimore. The building has an upscale dark warehouse feel to it, but comfortable at the same time. Plenty of tables for dining, and the bar can seat about 20 people. There are also some side rooms with sofas and chairs that would be nice for larger groups.

There is a very solid beer list here as there are 40 beers on draft. Beers from Evolution, Heavy Seas, Dogfish Head, Flying Fish, Stone, DuClaw, Olivers, Harpoon, Stillwater, 16 Mile, Ommegang, and Smuttynose were just some of the breweries represented here. I have visited this place twice and both time beers were fresh.

The service is decent and seems to have some working beer knowledge to at least answer questions about the offerings. The food was pretty good, as we had some good appetizers like the soft pretzels with crab dip and turkey chili. Sandwiches were also tasty.

I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good beer in a more upscale setting. The beer list still doesn't match Max's, but there is plenty to choose from here without getting the frat house feel of some of the casual bars in Fells Point.
