Overall, a solid, citrus-y, pale ale. It has a nice lingering finish.

Update on 12/9/17: even beyond its freshness date, this is STILL a solid pale ale

I got a can of this off the Binnys single shelf. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hint of overprimed and some bitterness. The taste had the overprimed zeal. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with big fizzy carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Poured 12 oz can into pint.

Hazy yellow/light golden with plenty of lace and good head retention.

On the nose, grassy.. almost flaked maize-esc. . . earthy and light balanced malt/cream.

Taste is smooth, rounded and balanced more toward a summer beer like a cream ale than a pale.

Mouthfeel is plenty for a APA... Balanced with the smooth maltiness from the flaked wheat and 2 row.... light toast from vienna... and cascade hops give it a clean grapefruit flavor ... ending w/ a dry finish.

A nice change of pace in pale ales of late.

Glad I was able to experience this beer.

12 ounce can.

A: Hazy straw yellow, + 2 fingers of foam served at cellar temperature. No complaints aboot the lacing.

S: Spicy pine and citrus aroma. Overall bitter smell.

T: Light spiciness to the mostly piney hops, earthy malt that adds no sweet notes. How do I say it? Run of the mill.

M: Good enough mouthfeel.

O: Nothing noteworthy aboot this APA. A tough style since there are so many out there that are truly impressive.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong floral hops, earthiness, hint of yeast, slight pale malt, and a hint of spicy hops. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. A strong bitterness is unpleasant. Tastes of strong floral hops, earthiness, hint of yeast, grass, slight pale malt, and a hint of spicy hops. Overall, decent appearance, aroma, mostly floral and grass, but too bitter.

Look: Pours a light gold color, good amount of bubbles rising to the surface. Head is 1 inch and holds nicely.
Smell: Very little citrus, some light earthy tones, nothing really stands out.
Taste: Solid carbonation, very light all around flavors - citrus, grassy. A somewhat dry pale ale. Easy to drink.
Feel: Again, good carbonation, smooth and easy to drink
Overall: Good, I might buy again for mowing my lawn on a hot summer day. A good summer pale.
