an easy drinking blonde ale with orange and honey here, a nice lighter offering with plenty of flavor. i like that the honey can still be tasted here, even though the beer is really light and dry, its not fermented out to nothing, and leaves a pleasant, springy floral character in the brew. the orange is more sweet juice than bitter peel too, which is fine in, an accent at most, not at all overdone, this doesnt drink like flavored beer at all. the base is real simple to me, a one tone biscuit note on the malt side, a clean fermentation profile, and very little appreciable hops, which is why the small doses of honey and orange are needed to make this taste like anything more than yellow beer. lately i have been really impressed with the quality of the beer these guys are making, pretty much across the board everything is objectively good, even if its not my favorite style or whatever, they are doing a great job, and this blonde is a good example of that, where the beer has plenty of character and isnt boring, but is also just a well made blonde ale. they got the basics down first. i could drink a lot of this one, but it definitely seems more spring and summer than fall and winter. that said, always nice to have something light in the mix. i continue to enjoy just about everything these guys do!
