12 oz can dated April something, the date is smeared. This is likely about 2 weeks old.
Hops: Citra, Mosaic
Brand new beer from Union and it's a winner. Crystal clear, and balances between west coast hoppy dryness and east coast juiciness. I will be buying a lot of this.

12 oz can, poured into glass
very light in color, straw golden, clear, foamy white head. aroma is fairly fruity, citrus. taste is dryer, the hops more subdued. thinner bodied.

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a can of this. Canned on 7/19/19.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice crystal clear golden hue with a good fat one finger white head that faded slowly to leave light lacing and a thin creamy blanket.
S - Aromas of light bubble gum and juicy hops, light crackers, tutti frutti, lighter oranges and citrus peel. Swirls bring out nice grapefruit bitterness and just abit of malts.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, decent amount of bubblegum notes, the crackery grains and malts are a bit stronger here. Decent grapefruit bitterness on the finish but it lacks some of the nice pop that the nose had.
M - Mouthfeel is hands down the weakest part of this beer. The body is light, as is the carbonation. The result is a very, very thin feeling beer.
O - Overall this was a rather disappointing beer. I enjoyed the aroma but the taste didn't match up. The biggest hindrance was the thin body and low carbonation. That really detracted from an otherwise decent ipa.

5 oz pour on tap. This is an extremely well-balanced new-school IPA. Citrus, tropical fruit, earthy grass, and bitter citrus rind, all with a slight sweetness from the malt backbone. Complex yet clean. Delicious...or should I say "Divine."

Clear, yellow/gold appearance sporting a fairly large white head and sparse lacing. Resinous hop aroma with herbal notes and a bit of grapefruit. Flavor remains mostly hoppy while grainy malts add balance but bitterness prevails. Spicy, bitter aftertaste. Finishes clean and dry. No detectable off notes. Canned on 9/11/20, consumed on 10/14/20.

Picked up on a whim for a Friday afternon on the porch. Pours a straight gold with little head. Nose is hoppy with essence of pear, peach, and mango. Good start.
Medium hops but strong flavor throughout. I see why people are calling it a session ale because it goes down very easy and is all about flavor. Great drinkability. Maybe a touch high on carbonation but the complexity is still very solid. This was a quality six pack purchase. Along with Foxy, these guys know their way around an IPA.

A very, very unique IPA. Appearance is golden and clear body a 1 finger head. Looks like a Pilsener almost. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. It says citra and mosaic, however the aroma is like a pear or peach in sweetness and a touch dank but nothing tropical fruity at all like you normally expect from those hop varieties. Taste is superb blend of malt and hops. The hops are aromatic, sweet and juicy but finishes a touch crisp and perhaps a touch dry (not a Brut but hints that way a little). Bitterness is low but its present to remind you this is an IPA. Feels very slick and silky going down. Another excellent crafted beer from Union. Highly recommend to try this one.

Clear light gold. Single finger of white head, which sticks around for a bit. Spotty lace on every gulp.
Big aroma of citrus upon cracking the can. Dank and citrus, some pine. I miss it nowadays.
Lots of citrus with some tropical stuff going on in the background. A bit of earthiness and a firm malt backbone.
Light bodied, carbonation is spot on. Crushable despite the abv. Drinks like a session
Dude, this is nice.

Canned 7/19/19
Pours a larger fizzy bubbly head with medium retention, nice messy lacing, mostly clear slight chill hazed medium gold color
Nose light sweet grainy malt, good malt sweetness balancing the floral slight fruity hops
Taste brings more sweet grainy malt out front, a bit of honey character with good balance to the medium bitterness of the hops, also bringing floral grassy and a little earthy note, turning a bit fruity later, some noble floral grassy hop notes late, with a drier finish, a it dries the bitterness ramps to a medium-high
MOuth is med bod, medium to a bit lighter carb
Overall pretty old school style IPA, good bitterness, nice malt backbone to balance, hops flavors/aromas are OK but could be updated with more modern or at least more fragrant hops as they seem more like a pale ale than IPA, but otherwise good.
