One of my favorite goses, light and refreshing with perfectly balanced fruity sourness and a salty finish.

Poured from fridge temp. Beautiful golden yellow with little carbonation. Nose is really interesting. Salty, lemon, sour, earthy, orange peel. Taste is a quick burst of sour, a touch of tart, and a salty finish. The lemon notes really come through. Getting some wheat and a slight medicine taste. Definitely a dry finish. Pretty good stuff.

Canned March 24 according to the ink on the bottom of this 12oz vessel.

It is a very milky, unfiltered pale straw color with a fizzy white head that almost disappeared before I could take a picture of it.

As much as I love a Gose, I run into this occasionally with the aroma. Unfortunately, it smells very much like vomit. It is very sour with a lot of lactic acid, some salt, and a little lemon. I hate when this happens because it is really hard to overcome, but I tend to be pretty sensitive to it.

There is a puckering sour lemon and acidity up front with a touch of spicy corriander, follwed by some sea salt that seems to tame it a little. The wheat is very subtle. Barley noticeable to me.

The body is not nearly as carbonated as I would have guessed and had that signature soft feel.

I like the seemingly traditional approach, and having only tried American versions it may be more representative of the style than I scoring towards. This one is certainly drinkable overall, but seems pretty unbalanced toward the sour end to me. Some more wheat grains would probably help quite a bit, and letting it warm up seems to help.

12 oz can poured into speigelau IPA glass canned on 3/24

A: murky bright yellow tan body with little to no head.

S: very tart smelling, lemony, coriander, grainy, and salty

T: nice refreshing tartness finishing with some coriander and wheat with some nice saltiness on the finish.

M: clean refreshing makes your mouth water with the light saltiness and tartness

O: this is a good gose it's refreshing salty and sour with some nice wheat and coriander mixed in.

This one is weird for me because the look and smell were not that appealing, but the taste and feel were great. I'm pretty new to sour beers and this not sure how they should look and smell in general so take my rating with a grain of salt.

I do know that the taste and feel of this beer are awesome and I want this again for sure.

From a can, pours as a really hazy straw with a quickly dispersing white head. Aromas of lime, green apple, and coriander. First taste impression is, wow, really astringent and sour. Lots of wheat flavors, slight malt, and zero hops. Light body, little carbonation, and an acquired taste.
