It is a mildly hoppy pale ale using a 2 row pale base malt and several other specialty malts for body, color, and head retention. It is hopped with American west coast hops later in the boil giving it a nice citrus hop flavor and mild aroma. Slight addition of a roasted caramel malt gives "633" it's signature 'sunset over the harbor glow'.

Pint on draft at Hella Good.
Appearance: Slightly cloudy straw gold with a thin lace of white bubbles.
Aroma: Crisp, slightly hoppy. Slight tropical fruit. Grains. Grass. Malt.
Taste: Surprisingly tropical and fruity. Mango, grapefruit, maybe even a bit of green apple. "Slightly hoppy" strikes me as an undersell. More like a hoppy APA to my palate.
Mouthfeel: Easy and appealing, and somewhat substantive, but not heavy or filling.
Overall: This was a nice little find. Nice, slightly complex flavor profile from this beer. Good stuff.

From the 16 oz. can which was canned on 7/3/17. Sampled on July 15, 2017.
Cloudy looking light amber pour underneath a modest delicate white head, which fades after a few moments.
The aroma is fresh and clean with a bouquet of barley grain, white bread, and lemongrass.
The body is medium and smooth.
The taste is also clean, crisp, and sweet with a mild to moderate grassy bitterness at the finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Howler brought home and poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange to almost brown color with a stiff rocky foamy white head that dissipated evenly to yield a spotty lace.
The aroma had some sweet to bitter piney hop edges over top of some semi-sweet dried biscuit-like malts. Mild yeasty/breadiness.
The flavor was mainly sweet grasping at a light bitter edge underneath and pulling it mostly together to ride on into the aftertaste fairly nice.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sesionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Some bitterness crashes my tongue a bit more than expected.
Overall, for the most part, I didn't mind this one. I could have again.
