Pours a light brown with a solid, attractive head that had good retention before settling to a thin cap. Moderate amount of sticky lacing is left down the glass.

Enjoyable malty aroma of caramel, toast, and slightly nutty. Some earthy hops as well. Solid.

Nice flavor of caramel and bready malt. Also get nutty and chocolate notes. A little hoppiness and flavor enough that I get some earthy notes. Pretty good flavor out of a 4.9% ABV beer. Very clean.

Body is on the lighter side which is not surprising. Well match carbonation that gives the beer life without going overboard.

An all around solid beer. Love the low ABV and drinkability. I have been impressed with all the Third Street beers and all of them will be in my regular rotation.

Nice toasty slightly roasty and bits of caramelly sweetness with a soft background of soft German hops. Strong enough to be apparent yet soft enough not to overwhelm and blended very nicely.
Need to pour a little aggressively to get the tan head and it settles out a little quick, but nice enough. Very clear body of brown with red highlights in the light.
Malt flavors match the aroma in a very nice manner. The hopping is softer than I expected, but with a little digging it can be found and again it resembles the aroma character very much. The finish is rather short with minimal bitterness and and a malt and a little hop carryover.
Moderate feel with moderate carbonation.
This is a solid drinker. Brown ales aren't the most exciting style, generally, but this one does fine by what it is. Don't turn it down if offered and it probably blends nicely with some grilled food.
