Crux is a great stop in Bend
light amber with perfect head
sweet malty citra aroma
sweet but not overly, I didn't think citra could be like this.
great stuff, I'd like to go back and crush a few more, was hoping for bottles along with the hoppy pilsner

I like citra. This is citra and not bitter. At 7.1% it is not boozy at all. Nicely played.

Had this on tap at Crux in Bend, OR on 20 Jan 13.
A: Light and bright amber pour with a finger of head that settles to a smaller rim.
S: Sweet citrus aromas jump out of the glass. Definitely smell the citra hops right away. Tropical fruit and malty sweetness give it a great aroma.
T: Initially very sweet up front, then a more pronounced hop bite comes through. Melon, orange, grapefruit all give a fresh citrus hop punch. Pale malt balances and it finishes non-aggressively.
M: Medium mouthfeel, average carbonation, feels like there is some residual sugar after it goes down.
O: Might be too sweet for some palates, but it is an interesting APA/IPA that is thirst quenching and flavorful. I also tend to love anything with citra, and I imagine other citra lovers will like this beer.
