Had it from tap poured into a shaker pint. Yellow color with nice head and excellent lacing. Citrus and pine smell and taste. Nice bitter finish. Very nice homage to Sierra Nevada!

Treated as an APA, this was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-pale yellow color with a sly transparency about it. Moderate carbonation rose at a gentle pace to hit a semi-slowly dieing head. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some bittersweet grapefruit pith playing with some citrus rind. Sweet grassy hop "ends" play with a nice little bit of hop spice to round out the edges.
The flavor broadens through the sweetness of the grapefruit and citrus to end up bringing in a sturdy bitterness. All came together in the aftertaste fairly nice.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, as it seemed to sit just a touch under and having a fantastic sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice APA that I could have again. And would probably go nice with some sweet BBQ.

On tap at La Grange (Houston, TX), served in a shaker pint. Deep golden color with frothy head of white foam. Plenty of bitter grapefruit rind, pine resin and slight dankness in both smell and taste with just enough lean, malty body. Highly bitter it's otherwise light character. Light body and lively carbonation. Light and drinkable, leaning towards session IPA territory.

A pale ale that tastes very IPAish. I smelled and tasted grapefruit, but my companions did not,so some disparity there, but I personally am not a fan of the grapefruit.
