We will make everything metal, we will make it blacker then the blackest black times infinity. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling. Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes, volcanoes. The dead rising from the grave. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria. 13%abv 111 IBU 100%metal

Pouring viscous stark black and building a tall tan foam, this leaves tons of camo lacing.
Vanilla is readily apparent on the nose, and it's paired with chocolate chip cookie batter, coming across much softer and smoother than the onslaught to come.
Taste is more aggressive and sharp than expected, both heavily roasty and also strongly hoppy, bringing together woody, bitter pine and strong coffee flavors that are rounded out by the vanilla that's sort of brownie-like.
The round, medium body has a light crackly fizz and a dry finish.

Had it on tap in a snifter. Very dark brown with a brown creamy head and good lacing. Smell and taste of dark chocolate and dark berries. Some espresso note. Silky feel but not too sweet or boozy. Very nice beer.

I'm going to compare a bit to the parent beer, Hammer Smashed Face in reference to this one. Vulgar Display of Power is black as night - just like Hammer Smashed Face. VDP also displays the same plum/raisins flavors from before, perhaps more prominently and less boozy. Grains have become more prominent in this one, Astringent/kind of clean taste. More malty notes then HSF but less sophistication? However this is an extremely balanced, heavy, dope stout - coffee, plums. roasted malts. Jesus.
