22oz bottle, no date. Pours black with a medium sized brown head. Smells and tastes of very tart dark fruit and weak roasted malt; no coffee, oats, or lactose. Above average body and below average carbonation. Must be a bad bottle. It seems promising though, so hopefully I can revisit this someday and update my review.

Poured 22oz bottle into snifter. Dark coffee brown with a 1.5 finger tan head and some small spotty lacing. The aroma is fresh coffee and espresso layered in with a nice base stout of roasted malt and dark chocolate. The flavor is big on cold brew coffee and espresso. The stout notes are of roasted malt and bitter chocolate. There is also a nice sweet lactose flavor to mimic sugar and cream. Feel is very velvety and rich. This was a well executed beer that is creamier than CW coffee stout.

650ml bottle served in a snifter glass.

Pours a dark cola coloured body, half finger white head, minimal retention, not much lacing. Smells of burnt dark coffee, a bit of chocolate, mild ethanol, teriyaki. Flavour is similarly teriyaki, a bit smoky, burnt coffee beans, dark chocolate, not a whole lot else. As it warms, a bit of alcohol burn finds its way in as well. Mouthfeel is medium-thicker bodied, hefty but ultimately a bit undercarbonated and a bit slicker than I'd like. Overall, it's got a bit of a meaty teriyaki smokiness to it that just isn't my thing. Good mouthfeel, low carbonation.

Poured at a good temperature with a nice, light tan, thick, creamy head that settles slow and lots of thick lace. Color is an opaque brown black. Aroma is super mild with some roast malt. Flavor's way stronger, though has the bold (tho not overdone), slight sweet, just enough tang, cocoa. Very tasty. Body/carbonation are perfect, esp. for style. Finish has no off flavors and slowly tapers, and is super drinkable.

Look: Pours a dark brown, almost black, with a thick light tan head.

Smell: Coffee really dominates the aroma, with possibly some malt and chocolate coming out.

Taste: Coffee, earthiness, some dark chocolate, and a tinny taste.

Feel: Bitter, almost acrid, and medium bodied.

Overall: I like coffee stouts, but I'm struggling a bit with this one. Bitter, and little depth. The off flavor bothers me too
