They have expanded and most brewing has moved across the steer. Bar is great, Staff extremely friendly and the selection is fantastic. Many very good beers. Bartto is my favorite. Not always on tap but typically available in a bomber.

For most angelenos, Lancaster would be a bit of a drive. But, there's a lot to be said of the experience. You truly get the sense that you're on the outskirts of town, past fantastic rock formations and the San Andreas fault, and you shouldn't be overwhelmed by any of the normal Los Angeles traffic once you hit the 14 fwy.

The location is a bit hidden, but the tasting room is sizeable and tables began filling up quickly with groups in the first hour the brewery was open, even on a Sunday at noon. About 15-20 beers on tap to choose from. A flight of 5 will set you back $8. Most pints and tulip pours were between $6 and $7. A good selection of 22 oz bottles available in a fridge. You can also take home a growler or a crowler.

The tap room is decorated with patriotic memorabilia honoring servicemen and women over the years and Lancaster's military history.

"Live your life with bravery." Well said.

Recommended.

The Bravery Tasting Room is becoming a local institution. On any given night it seems to do a steady business and when there is music, which is often, it can really fill up. The vibe is a laid-back local hangout, feeling more like lounging around your friend's place than a bar. The room is small enough and close enough to the brewing equipment that you can meet and talk to the brewing staff as they go about their business.

The tasting room itself has no food, but there are often food trucks or catering companies offering food in the evening. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have some cool ideas, like a tally board which allows customers to pre-buy beer for friends or anonymous military members, to be served whenever that person arrives and identifies him/herself. This again contributes to the friendly vibe.

There are typically 10-15 of their own beers on tap and a few of them are available in bomber bottles. The brewers seem to have wide-ranging tastes, serving a mix of US, British and Belgian styles. They are also increasingly experimenting with barrel aging, with some great results. This place is definitely worth checking out.

I visited Bravery for the first time last weekend. They have a pretty large spot in an industrial area that houses the brewery, the bar, and some seating. Lots of military themed decor on the walls. I sat at the bar and ordered taster flights of all the beers they had on tap. The service was good the whole time. The quality of the beers was good but some of them seemed a bit off in the mouthfeel. Prices were quite reasonable - $5 for 4 tasters, $5 for pints, etc. It's definitely worth a stop here if you are in the area.
