Picked this up at a great beer shop in Darmstadt, Germany, Maruhn Welt der Getränke. Clear amber-orange pour with a huge three finger foamy beige head with great retention and lacing. The nose is sweet and hoppy with hints of caramel, pine, tangerine, toffee, apricot, and nuts. The taste follows suit with a nice balance between the piney hops and the sweet caramel malts. Hints of tangerine, caramel, toffee, pine, brown bread, and brown sugar. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation, good balance, and decent drinkability. Overall, the taste doesn't quite live up to the nose, but it's still solid and drinkable.

Dark copper, filtered with moderate carbonation and 2 fingers of beige head.

Smells of orange cream, a hint of pine and toasted notes.

Tastes of orange cream and dark toasted notes. Very light and vibrant.

Light body, moderate, prickly carbonation.

Got at Cent Fest a couple days ago, enjoying in Chiang Mai Feb 4th, 2017. Decent brew, really does remind me of an American ale, but more of an amber in my opinion.

Really good overall, but certainly not a Brown Ale.
I'd categorize this more as an old school East Coast IPA

From the Kalea Bier Advents Kalender. From the bottle, it pours a clear coppery amber with a modest, thick head. Lacing. A nice touch of hops in the nose, and a touch of hoppy malt in the mouth. Very drinkable. Yum!

From Costco. In Teku glass. Playing Bioshock Remastered, then Planets of War. Didnt find much of the usual profile of a brown ale and instead found some odd veggie hoppyness that is a bit unpleasant and even tartness
