Pours a muddy copper with about a half finger of head that dissipates quickly. The nose has hints of sweet malt and molasses but I am not getting any barrel scent. The flavor is light and bland for the style with a sharp alcoholic finish. The body is awful thin for a Big Belgian.

pours a brown murky color, not really any head. aroma is decent - whiskey, caramel, some vanilla, but fairly hot. taste is just thin and boozy, not much rich malt flavor that you'd expect from this style of beer.
